My annual travelogue
In 2023, I embarked on a journey to Ho Chi Minh City, and one of the most memorable for me was the picturesque "Foreign Street". This street is full of traces of history and romance, and I am intoxicated by it.
As soon as I stepped onto Foreign Street, I was fascinated by the unique atmosphere. The old buildings are intertwined with the modern shops, and it is as if time has blurred here. Trees lining the streets provide shade and shade for pedestrians. Walking through the foreign streets, I felt as if I had traveled to an ancient and romantic world.
The historic architecture here is the part I admire the most. Each building has its own unique story to tell, telling the story of Ho Chi Minh City's history. I especially like the French-style buildings, which look especially beautiful in the sunset. I once walked into a second-hand bookstore, and there was a faint smell of ink in it, as if time had stood still here.
In addition to the architecture, the romantic atmosphere on the foreign street is also intoxicating. Whether it's a couple with roses in their hands or lovers whispering in a café, it adds a bit of romance to the street. Here, I felt the sweetness and warmth of love.
In addition, the food in the foreign town is also a must-see. From authentic Vietnamese cuisine to international cuisine, it has everything here. I once tried a French restaurant where the foie gras and red wine made me unforgettable.
The foreign street at night is even more charming. Neon lights twinkle and complement the starry sky. I chose an open-air bar, ordered a cocktail, and admired the foreign street at night. At that moment, I felt like I was part of the city and shared a romantic moment with it.
Foreign Street in Ho Chi Minh City is the most precious memory of my trip. Here, I not only felt the weight of history and romance, but also found the meaning of travel.
