Newbie Mentoring Program
Today is the twenty-ninth day of the lunar month, and according to custom, today is the day of the market. Mom and Dad and I got up early in the morning and walked towards the market full of joy.
When you come to the market, you can hear the noise from afar, the sound of people selling, bargaining, and the sound of children playing. Walking into the bazaar, I saw that both sides of the street were full of all kinds of stalls, including those selling Spring Festival couplets, selling candy, selling New Year's paintings, selling vegetables, selling meat, etc., which were dazzling and dazzling. People bustling from stall to stall, some carefully selecting goods, some haggling with stall owners, some chatting with acquaintances, everyone's face filled with festive smiles.
I excitedly took my mom and dad's hand and walked through the crowd, looking at this, touching that, and feeling that everything was new. I saw an old man writing Spring Festival couplets, holding a brush, dipped in ink, and writing down his best wishes for the New Year. I saw an aunt selling sugar gourds, she skewered hawthorn into a string, and then dipped it in syrup, and the strings of red sugar gourds were ready, and it was mouth-watering to look at. I also saw a young lady selling window flowers, and she used scissors to cut out all kinds of patterns, flowers, animals, and words, each of which was lifelike.
We walked around the bazaar for a while and bought some New Year's goods. Dad bought me some firecrackers and Mom bought me some sweets. Finally, we came to a stall selling clothes. The stall owner is an uncle who hangs his colorful clothes. Mom and Dad picked out a red cotton coat for me and said that I should dress festively for the New Year. I put on my new clothes and looked in front of the mirror, and I felt more handsome.
Today is my happiest day, because I feel the strong flavor of the New Year, and I also feel the love of my parents for me. I hope to go to the New Year's fair with my parents next year to buy New Year's goods.
