The word "growing up" always brings me infinite reverie. Whenever I hear these two words, I think of what it would be like to be an adult, and I must have been a brave, independent, and confident person at that time.

I remember as a kid I was a very timid kid. Don't dare to sleep alone, don't dare to go to a dark place alone. However, as time went on, I slowly grew up. I started to learn to do things on my own and deal with problems on my own.

I remember one time, there was no one at home and I accidentally broke a vase. At that time, I was scared and didn't know what to do. However, I knew I had to face this issue bravely. So, I carefully cleaned up the debris and sat on the couch waiting for Mom and Dad to come back. When they returned, I told them that I had accidentally broken the vase and admitted my mistake. Instead of blaming me, they praised me for being brave and honest.

Growing up is not only a physiological process, but also a psychological process. I found that I gradually began to have my own ideas and opinions. I was no longer a child who would only follow my parents' arrangements, and I began to have my own choices and decisions. I began to think about the problems of life and began to pay attention to things in society. I gradually understood that growing up means taking on more responsibilities and obligations, and it means studying and working harder.

However, the process of growing up was not all smooth sailing. Sometimes, I encounter setbacks and difficulties. I would feel lost and helpless because of my failure. However, I knew I couldn't give up. Because it is only through constant effort and experimentation that I can truly grow and grow.
