The heroine had tried a minimalist style, but because of her love of things, she eventually chose to abandon a decisive lifestyle and make her home become"It's all sorted"。However, how to maintain beauty and harmony in a space with rich elements, and at the same time achieve a comfortable life for one person and one cat? Let's take a look at how designers work their transformation magic.
A clever change from the original layout.
The original 120 three-bedroom units were bright and airy, with most of the interior partition walls removed and three balconies. The owner wanted a master suite with study, bathroom and storage, as well as a guest and kitchen area that would allow sunlight to penetrate every corner.
Floor plan to fulfill wishes.
The highlights of the designer's renovation include the kitchen and living room to form an LDK-style overall space, the reserve room on the north side and the separation of dry and wet in the public bathroom, the clever planning of three balconies as functional, landscape and green balconies, the opening of two rooms on the south side to form a suite, and the flexible opening and closing of hidden doors between the master bedroom and the living room.
The individual design of the entrance.
The half-height cabinet on the right-hand side of the entrance is a retro and elegant combination of black walnut and rattan weaving, making it an ideal place to store keys and bags. In addition, the designer chose a wall-mounted second-hand cabinet, and after a difficult purchase in 2018, he finally succeeded in realizing the "obsession" of the design. This set of cabinets is full of stories, and the heroine will continue to add luster to them in the future.
Time lounge area in the living room.
The living room is based on white walls and herringbone flooring, creating a minimalist and casual atmosphere. A whole wall of floor-to-ceiling windows brings in the beauty of sunlight, and the anti-Japanese furniture and off-white flower plate lines complement each other, which together balance the atmosphere of the space.
The designer turned the living room into a relaxation area, with freely assembled furniture, aged dark carpets, and views from the windows, making the space rich and dynamic.
Lace curtains for balcony design.
The balcony renovation cleverly solves the problem of ground beams and designs a set of floors that can be used as cushions and small sofas.
The side bookcases and cat climbing holes make the balcony not only a place to rest, but also a playground for cats. Lace curtains block out the summer sun, making the balcony a haven for plants.
Creative restaurant setting.
The restaurant continues to have a walnut-colored dining table, with a combination of stools and chairs, which makes the use of dining more flexible. The white chandelier breaks the dullness of the overall color and brings more light and shadow changes to the dining area.
The curtains are based on semi-circular top bricks, the cabinets are green, the refrigerator is white, and the kitchen has a clean, simple and fun atmosphere.
From the hallway to the living room, balcony, dining room and kitchen, each space has been cleverly designed by the designer to allow occupants to live freely and comfortably in a unique charm.
The whole space exudes a sense of time, integrating the daily bits and pieces into life, creating a home full of warmth and stories.
Master bedroom. Between the master bedroom and the living room, a Changhong glass sliding door is cleverly set up to achieve the dual function of transmitting light but not seeing. Roman columns and curved edges form an interesting shape of the doorway, and the double hanging doors can be easily removed, which not only takes into account the need for sleep, but also effectively blocks the wind of the air conditioner in summer.
The bedroom and study form an internally connected suite, with floors extending to the living and dining rooms, and the color palette is dominated by walnut and white, with green and orange soft furnishings to add warmth to the sleeping area.
Den. The home is equipped with a small trolley that is easy to use, and the green lamps and chairs complement each other. A curtain is hidden behind the wardrobe on the wall, while the open cabinet in the corner doubles as a small bar counter, making it easy to boil water for tea nearby.
Curtain tracks are reserved between the sleeping area and the study room, and you can switch between leisure and working modes as needed.
Sleeping area. A whole bedside background cabinet is planned to meet the storage needs of a large number of books. The bathroom of the master bedroom is made of wrought iron combined with Changhong glass to add a sense of brightness to the dark guard.
Instead of using a traditional bedside table, the bedside chose a rattan-faced trolley, which is more free and flexible.
Master Guard. The dry area of the master bathroom fully meets the makeup and skin care needs of the hostess, providing more storage space and storage space for the side chair. The wet area adopts a separate white bathtub, and the whole selection of terrazzo bricks and gold hardware presents a simple and retro atmosphere.
Second bedroom. The north bedroom is decorated in a subtle shade of matcha green, complemented by a rattan bed and ginger curtains. Due to limited space, the headboard of the bed is a compact wall-mounted cabinet, while the floating partition on the headboard side of the bed provides greater space utilization for a simple design.
Public health. The public bathroom continues the curved elements of the home, with a quarter-curved door opening and an interesting combination of embossed tiles and marble countertops. There is space above the partition of the mirror for small items.
The wet area is made of terrazzo bricks of similar color, which presents an overall refreshing and easy-to-care effect. Sunlight shines through the windows, the aroma of coffee fills the bar, the tablecloth is littered with delicious food, and the cat is lying leisurely on the carpet, creating a retro picture like an oil painting.
In collaboration with trusted homeowners, we succeeded in creating spaces that are transparent and free of dead ends, and every corner is full of scenery and beauty.
I wish the homeowner and Coke a moment of happiness in their new home.
