Global AI market data

The largest private investment in artificial intelligence (AI) companies is in healthcare. More than $6 billion has been invested in the industry. Other significant investments are in data management, fintech and cybersecurity, with approximately US$5.5 billion or more invested in each area. The lowest amount of investment was in the venture capital (VC) space of artificial intelligence companies, with only $20 million.

Another 35% of respondents said they have scaled up the technology, while 15% of retail directors surveyed expect the technology to be operational within the next 12 months.

When asked how their companies measure the effectiveness of using AI-driven personalization, 47% of global business leaders see the accuracy of data as the most important criterion. This was followed by the speed of real-time data and customer retention or repeat purchases, both of which were mentioned by 44% of respondents. Consumer feedback on online AI

AI shopping assistants can be used in many forms. A 2023 survey revealed that from chatbots to voice assistants, they appeal to consumers around the world. 35% of consumers surveyed find such tools interesting because they help discover new products or services. One-third of respondents cited convenience as a key factor, and the same percentage even believed that AI-powered shopping assistants were able to ** their needs or desires.
