Synthetic fiber mesh for fishing nets is a kind of mesh structure made of polymer materials, which is often used in fishery fishing and marine protection. The mesh must be strong and elongated enough to withstand the elements of the marine environment, such as currents, wind and waves, and biological erosion.
Fishing Net Breaking Strength Tester Synthetic Fiber Mesh Elongation Tester at Break
Breaking strength refers to the maximum tensile force that a synthetic fiber mesh sheet of a fishing net can withstand when subjected to an external force. This indicator is one of the important parameters to measure the quality of the mesh, which is directly related to the durability and service life of the mesh. In general, the higher the breaking strength, the better the strength and durability of the mesh. When selecting and using synthetic fiber mesh sheets for fishing nets, it is necessary to consider the appropriate breaking strength according to the actual needs and uses.
Fishing Net Breaking Strength Tester Synthetic Fiber Mesh Elongation Tester at Break
The elongation at break refers to the maximum deformation that can occur when the synthetic fiber mesh of the fishing net is subjected to external forces. This index reflects the flexibility and plasticity of the mesh, which is of great significance for ensuring the stability of the mesh when it is subjected to external forces. Reasonable elongation at break can make the mesh effectively disperse the force when subjected to external force, and avoid damage caused by excessive local force.
The GBT 4925-2008 standard specifies the instruments, test requirements, sampling and sample handling test methods, data processing and result presentation for determining the breaking strength, elongation at break and tear strength of synthetic fiber mesh for fishery use.
This standard is applicable to the test of breaking strength, elongation at break and tear strength of synthetic fiber mesh for fishery.

Test Method. 1.1. Breaking strength and elongation of the mesh.
The breaking strength and elongation of the mesh include the longitudinal dry breaking strength and elongation at break of the mesh, the longitudinal wet breaking strength and elongation at break of the mesh, the transverse thousand-state breaking strength and elongation at break of the mesh, and the transverse wet breaking strength and elongation of the mesh. Mesh with a mesh length greater than 150 mm is classified as per SC 110-1983 in 65. Determine the strength of the junction.
1.1.1. Longitudinal dry fracture strength and elongation of mesh.
The longitudinal and longitudinal dry specimen of the mesh is flatly clamped into the upper fixture, and the eyes and feet are close to each other, and the lower end of the sample is pre-tensioned according to GB T6965, and then the test is carried out to measure the longitudinal thousand-state fracture strength and elongation at break of the mesh (see Fig. 1).Unless otherwise agreed by the supplier and the buyer, the longitudinal thousand-state fracture strength and elongation at break of the mesh shall be effectively measured no less than 20 times.
1.1.2. Transverse dry fracture strength and fracture elongation of the mesh.
The transverse end of the transverse thousand state specimen of the mesh is flatly clamped into the upper fixture, and the eyes and feet are close to each other, and after the lower end of the sample is pre-tensioned, the person is clamped in the lower fixture, and then the test is carried out to measure the transverse dry fracture strength and elongation of the mesh. Unless otherwise agreed by the supplier and the buyer, the transverse dry fracture strength and elongation at break of the mesh shall be effectively measured no less than 20 times.
1.2. The breaking strength and elongation at break of the twisted mesh and the flat woven mesh.
The test methods for breaking strength and elongation at break of twisted mesh and plain fabric are the same as those of 11 corresponds to the same.
1.3. The mesh tear is strong.
The mesh tear strength includes the longitudinal dry tear strength of the mesh, the longitudinal wet tear strength of the mesh, the transverse dry tear strength of the mesh and the transverse wet tear strength of the mesh.
1.3.1. The longitudinal dry tear of the mesh is strong.
Place the specimen at the C-terminus of the specimen in the manner shown in Figure 2b). The D end clamps the upper and lower clamps respectively. Determine the maximum strength value during the full tearing of the knot (or connection point). Unless otherwise agreed by the supplier and the buyer, the effective measurement of the longitudinal thousand-state tear strength of the mesh shall not be less than 10 times.
