On the morning of February 2, 2024, the "Warm Community, Shimmering Future" practice team of the School of Computer Science of Qufu Normal University joined hands with the community to jointly hold a unique "New Year Blessing" activity. By sending warm blessings and care to the residents, the whole community is filled with a strong New Year's flavor and warmth.
Since the beginning of the preparation, the event has attracted extensive attention and active participation of the majority of residents. Community staff and volunteers worked together to prepare hundreds of blessing characters meaning auspiciousness, happiness and health, as well as colorful Chinese New Year decorations. They hope that through their own efforts, every family can feel the joy and blessings of the New Year.
On the day of the event, the community service center was bustling. Staff and volunteers walked the streets and alleys to deliver blessings to residents. These blessing characters not only decorate the lintels of every household, but also warm everyone's heart. In addition, the community also arranged a special delivery of Spring Festival couplets and wall calendars, so that residents can feel a strong cultural atmosphere and a beautiful vision during the Spring Festival.
This activity not only promoted the excellent traditional Chinese culture, enhanced the friendship and unity between the residents, but also made the residents feel the care and warmth of the community. Many residents said that such activities have made them deeply appreciate the warmth of home and the harmony of the community, and they will be more actively involved in community construction and work together for the future of a better home.
