Combustible and toxic gas alarm installation principle:

1. When setting up monitoring points, gas detectors or toxic gas detectors should be arranged at appropriate intervals along the periphery of production facilities and storage and transportation facilities, or linear gas detectors should be set up along the periphery of production facilities and storage and transportation facilities.

2. In the production process can lead to changes in ambient oxygen concentration, and there are personnel with hypoxia and peroxide entering the activity place, oxygen detectors should be set up, and when the relevant gas release source is combustible gas or toxic gas release source, the oxygen detector can be arranged together with the relevant combustible gas detector and toxic gas detector.

3. The release source is located in the equipment area of the open air or open workshop, and the horizontal distance between the combustible gas detector and any release source within its coverage should not be greater than 10m, and the horizontal distance of the toxic gas detector from any release source within its coverage should not be greater than 4m.

4. The release source is in a closed plant or a semi-open plant with poor local ventilation, and the horizontal distance between the combustible gas detector and any release source within its coverage should not be greater than 5m; The horizontal distance of the toxic gas detector from any release source within its coverage should not be greater than 2m.

5. If the combustible gas or toxic gas release source is located in a closed or partially poorly ventilated semi-open plant, in addition to setting up a detector above the release source, a combustible gas or toxic gas detector should be set up at the highest point in the plant where the gas is easy to accumulate.

6. Detectors should be set up in the fire embankment of liquid storage and transportation tanks that produce combustible gases such as liquefied hydrocarbons, Class A and B liquids. For the railway loading and unloading trestle, a detector should be set up in each parking space on the ground, and the horizontal distance between the detector and the loading and unloading port should not be greater than 10m; The horizontal distance between the crane position of the loading and unloading truck and the detector of the car loading and unloading station should not be greater than 10m.

7. Detector setting of liquefied hydrocarbon filling station: closed or semi-open filling room, the horizontal distance between the filling port and the detector should be 5-75m;Every 10-20m along the perimeter of the open bottle storage warehouse, a detector should be set up, and a detector should be set when the sum of the four perimeter lengths is less than 10m; The horizontal distance between the drain port or valve group of the buffer tank and the detector should be 5-75m。

8. A detector should be set up at the loading and unloading dock that may emit combustible gases within 10m from the horizontal plane of the oil delivery arm. The effective coverage horizontal radius of the combustible gas detector should be 7 indoors5m;It should be 10 meters outside. A detector can be set up within the effective coverage area.
