Loyalty, filial piety, and righteousness
A memorial to the "Day of the Visit".
At the beginning of the Year of the Dragon, Puyang is spring! On the second day of the first lunar month, the sun is just right!
The "Qigong Temple" in the southern suburbs of Gongchen Street, Licheng District, held a grand "Qigong Temple Rescue Restoration Launching Ceremony". At the event site, flags fluttered, crowds surged, drums were noisy, and it was very lively. Nearly 1,500 caring people from the southern suburbs, Yangxi, Qibu, eastern suburbs and other places participated in the event. "Ten Sounds and Eight Music", "Che Drum Team", "Mazu Literature and Art Team" and many other folk art teams took turns to perform enthusiastically, fully expressing their infinite admiration for the national heroic Qi Jiguang. The participants were enthusiastic in donating funds to dedicate love to the restoration of "Qigong Temple".
The high door of the New Year's New Year opened, and the clothes came one after another. On the second day of the first day of the unique ancient style, Dumen thanked the guests and raised their glasses. "The second day of the first lunar month is a very special day, a day that every Puyang child cannot forget, commonly known as "Visiting the Death Day"! Today in history carries a tragic history and a shame that cannot be looked back!
On the twenty-ninth day of November in the 41st year of Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, the Japanese invaders waited for an opportunity to counterattack, captured the city of Xinghua, occupied the city and burned and looted for more than 60 days, causing the entire Xinghua Mansion to flow into a river of blood and mourn all over the field. On the second day of the first lunar month of the following year, the "Death Day" was born. In the anti-Japanese struggle before the fall of Xinghua Mansion, the heroic Qi Jiguang led the heroes to set up camp in the "Hualai Temple", strategized and turned the tide, and achieved the brilliant "Lindun Victory", saved our fellow villagers, and returned a peace to the land of Puyang. In order to commemorate Qi Jiguang's great achievements, the descendants renamed "Hualai Temple" as "Qigong Temple". Today, "Qigong Temple" took the opportunity of "Visiting the Dead" to hold a grand event to commemorate Qi Jiguang's great achievements!
The situation is changing, be prepared for danger in times of peace! Behind this seemingly harmonious and peaceful scene, there are still turbulent waves! Living in the new era, we should not forget history, and we should be ashamed and courageous!
In the past two years, all parties have been running to consult relevant departments and experts in history and culture, folk customs, cultural relics, etc., and have completed the preliminary work of "Qigong Temple" historical and cultural combing, restoration design, collection and comparison of ancient building materials, and documentary filming. And mobilize caring people to raise funds for restoration, and also give the anti-Japanese heroes a space for spiritual placement, build an anti-Japanese commemorative resort as soon as possible, and build a complete patriotic education base!
Here, I would like to sincerely thank the leaders from all walks of life for their care and support, as well as the joint help and dedication of entrepreneurs and village sages; Gather sand into a tower and participate in the grand event!
Buddha compassion! Bless the Living!
