ISO9001 certification process.

1. ISO9001 certification process: pre-audit.

The purpose of the pre-audit is to confirm the relevant management system of the enterprise, ensure that it meets the requirements of the ISO9001 standard, and has the qualification for certification. The pre-audit consists of two parts: document review and on-site audit. Document audit is mainly to review the management system documents of the enterprise, including management manuals, procedure documents, work instructions, etc., to ensure their integrity and compliance with the standard requirements. On-site audit is to review the actual operation of the enterprise, including production sites, warehouses, laboratories and other places.

2. ISO9001 certification process: application.

If an enterprise decides to apply for ISO9001 certification, it needs to submit an application to the certification body. The application should include the basic information of the enterprise, such as name, address, contact person, etc., as well as the scope of the management system and the type of product. At the same time, enterprises need to provide management system documents, including management manuals, procedure documents, work instructions, etc., for the certification body to review.

3. ISO9001 certification process: audit.

The audit is a key part of the ISO9001 certification process, including two parts: preliminary review and surveillance audit. The preliminary audit is a comprehensive and in-depth review of the company's management system, including document review and on-site audit. The purpose of the preliminary audit is to confirm whether the enterprise meets the requirements of the ISO9001 standard and provide suggestions for improvement. Surveillance audit is a regular review of an enterprise's management system to confirm that it continues to meet the requirements of the standard.

Fourth, ISO9001 certification process: certification.

If the company's management system is confirmed to meet the requirements of the ISO9001 standard after the preliminary review and supervision audit, the certification body will issue an ISO9001 certification certificate. The certificate is usually valid for three years, during which the certification body conducts a surveillance audit to ensure that the company continues to meet the requirements of the standard. Businesses are required to pay an annual certificate maintenance fee to the certification body to maintain the validity of the certificate.

5. ISO9001 certification process: review and renewal.

Before the certificate expires, the certification body will review the enterprise to confirm that its management system still meets the requirements of the ISO9001 standard. If the review result is qualified, the certification body will replace the certificate for the enterprise. If the enterprise does not pass the review, the certification body will suspend its certificate and require it to rectify within the specified time. After rectification, the enterprise can apply for a review again. If the review is still not passed, the certification body will revoke the certificate.
