A few days ago, the Youth League Working Committee of Chencun Street, Dianbai District, together with Guangdong Maoming Health Vocational College, Chencun Health Center of Dianbai District, and Maoming Rural Revitalization Team in Chencun Street to help towns and villages, carried out a three-day winter warmth to the countryside.
Free clinics were held in Baishi Village, Dengbu Village, and Nahang Village. The team of teachers and students of Guangdong Maoming Health Vocational College and the medical staff of Chencun Health Center worked together to provide villagers with services such as traditional Chinese medicine consultation, cardiopulmonary auscultation, health guidance, vision examination, blood sugar and blood pressure measurement, scraping, acupuncture, BMI testing, etc., and distributed authentic medicinal materials such as red dates and wolfberries to the masses on the spot, and carried out family doctor contracting, serving more than 700 people in total. During this period, they also carried out activities such as Chuangwen Gongwei investigation and publicity, anti-drug propaganda, and anti-fraud propaganda, and expressed condolences to 50 families in Chenyu Village and Chencun Village.
During the event, the Chencun Sub-district Office of Dianbai District held a traffic safety lecture on "Civilized Driving, Safe Driving, and Safe Accompanying You for Thousands of Miles" in Antai Fishing Village. The traffic police of the Maoming Public Security Bureau, who has more than 20 years of police experience, were invited to give a practical and vivid traffic safety lesson to more than 100 people at the scene. At the same time, 30 volunteers were arranged at the venue to conduct on-site interactive explanations to deepen the public's knowledge and understanding of traffic safety.
The Youth League Working Committee of Chencun Street has always adhered to the cohesion of volunteer service to empower rural revitalization, and this winter warmth to the countryside brought together more than 30 teachers and students from Guangdong Maoming Health Vocational College, more than 10 medical personnel from Chencun Health Center, and more than 60 relevant personnel from the sub-district office and the town-based team to help the town and village, covering 5 village committees in Chencun Street, serving more than 1,500 people.
