Mount Tai tour route Suggested route to visit Mount Tai attractions
Mount Tai is located in the center of Shandong Province, known as the "head of the five mountains", with both natural scenery and rich cultural history. According to your needs, I have prepared several routes for you to climb the mountain, including self-driving, ropeway, etc.
1. Hike up the mountain.
Driving up Tarzan is no longer the best way to do it for several reasons:
Taishan Scenic Area implements closed management, prohibiting private vehicles from entering the scenic spot. Go to Tianwai Village or Taohuayu Scenic Area, and then turn into a special bus to go directly to Zhongtianmen or Taohuayuan. In addition, if you are driving and your transportation cannot reach the summit directly, you can take a short break at Zhongtianmen. On the way up from Zhongtianmen, you can hike to the top of the mountain or take the electric cableway. Before deciding to drive your own car, please consider the above carefully and determine if you really need to drive to the mountain.
2. Cable car line.
Taohuayu Cable Car: This is a modern climbing route located in the northwest foothills of Mount Tai. The road from Taohuayu to Taohuayuan Cable Car Station is connected, and then from Taohuayuan to the summit by cable car. Frail travelers can take a ride to the mountain from here. The scenic spots along the line are: Taohuayu, Caishixi, Taohuayuan, etc., which are named "Xiu District" for their unique natural landscape.
Zhongtianmen Cable Car: Zhongtianmen Cable Car, from Zhongtianmen to Nantianmen, is another very convenient way to go up the mountain. Take the cable car at Zhongtianmen to reach Nantianmen faster, which is the most labor-saving way. However, there is one thing to be careful about, that is, the cable car is more expensive, and there is no way to enjoy the entire scenery of Mount Tai.
3. Mountaineering and hiking routes.
Tarzan has a variety of hiking trails for those who love to walk. Among these three routes, the "Red Gate" is the most representative route of Mount Tai, which allows tourists to appreciate the unique natural and cultural customs on the way. However, walking requires both physical fitness and time, so please be well prepared.
4. Preventive measures.
No matter what method you use to climb, be careful. When climbing, please strictly follow the regulations of the scenic spot and do not climb the restricted area.
According to your personal ability and itinerary, you can choose the suitable climbing route. If you feel unwell, you can take the cable car or drive yourself.
Due to its location on the plateau, the climate of Mount Tai is changeable, so please pay attention to prepare appropriate clothes and equipment.
