The 2024 Chinese New Year Party was held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, hosted by the Chinese Federation of Students and Scholars in the Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as the "Federation"), and the Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands Tan Jian and more than 500 students and scholars in the Netherlands celebrated the Spring Festival together.

Professor Hein Rattle of Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, wished everyone a "Happy New Year" and "Happy Year of the Dragon" in Chinese. He said that when he first visited China 25 years ago, he felt the excellent qualities of Chinese people who are intelligent, friendly and willing to cooperate, and these qualities are also reflected in Chinese students today.
Chen Yu, President of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students, reviewed the achievements and challenges of the work of the All-Netherlands Federation of Students in 2023. At the party, Chinese and foreign students from major universities in the Netherlands and Dutch teachers and students performed songs, dances, magic tricks and martial arts, bringing a wonderful audio-visual feast to the audience.
