At the invitation of the 2024 Lodz Peace Forum in May, Zhou Jinfeng will attend and give a report

Recently, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Association (hereinafter referred to as the China Green Development Association and the Green Society), received an invitation letter from the "D Peace Forum 2024" in Poland, and was invited to attend the "2024 Lodz Peace Forum" held in Lodz, Poland on May 5 and 10, 2024, and served as a guest speaker. It is reported that the theme of this year's Lodz Peace Forum will be "Building Bridges from Ód to a Peaceful Future".

The forum was organized by the Poland-based Unamos Culturas** in cooperation with the School of Management of the University of Lodz. Among the organizers of the forum were Dr. Maciej Tura A of the University of Łódź, Vice-Dean of the University of Łódź, Vice-Dean for International Relations and Director of the Department of Regional Management of the City of Łódź. The Lodz Peace Forum was organized by the conference in cooperation with the Tourist Organization of the City of Łódź and co-organized with national and international partners such as the Colombian-German Peace Institute, the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies of the University of Granada, the National Institute of Higher Education of Paraguay, INAES and R2EKO.

The city of Łódź has a 600-year history and is full of magnificent ups and downs. Despite once being the site of a concentration camp during World War II, the city of Lodz has undergone everything reinvented and is now one of the largest and most important cities in Poland. The 2024 Lodz Peace Forum provides a unique opportunity to bring together experts, scholars and leaders from around the world to build bridges to a peaceful future.

In addition, throughout the Forum Week, renowned Polish and international experts will be peacemaking from different perspectives every day; Wednesday: Memory, Immigration, Education; Thursday: Ecology, Economy and Technology; Friday: Nonviolence, Mediation and Transitional Justice. All of these topics will be discussed exclusively as part of the theme of peace. The academic, institutional and societal reflections generated by this conference will help to examine the challenges and opportunities for the future development of global peacebuilding.
