The project area is 220 square meters, the owner originally liked the log style, after the designer's detailed communication and excavation, it was found that the owner actually likes cool elements, and the owner of the house has a strong hands-on ability, likes to splice car models, likes to play the guitar, and will collect some of their favorite jerseys, and finally the designer combined the needs of the owner with his own design ideas, through two "cubes" to create a cool log minimalist home.
Original structure diagram.
Floor plan.
Push open the door, the front is a wall wrapped with wood veneer, at the corner of one side, a large arc yang angle is designed to soften the whole space, and the "wood cube" formed by the wood veneer wall forms a migratory line as the center, (see the plane layout plan for details) A whole row of suspended storage cabinets is set on the right side of the house, instead of the traditional floor-to-ceiling shoe cabinet, and the rock slab floor is embedded with a light strip, so that the line of sight can obtain a richer sense of hierarchy.
The guest bathroom is hidden behind the wood veneer wall, and the guest bathroom is blocked by the ** door of the same color, and when closed, the entire home storage space is very tidy.
The suspended cabinet extends all the way to the study, and in order to avoid the large area of the closed cabinet from looking stiff, the glass cabinet is designed to show the owner's preferences: taylor guitars, models, figures, etc.
Further forward in the entrance storage area is the study, the suspended cabinet body changes from glass to white bookshelves, and the extra-long bookshelf partition is made and painted by workers on site, on which the owner's various decorations and books are displayed to meet the needs of daily home office.
The desk is also made on site, leaning against the window, providing a good natural light source for the study, the wood veneer on the top is the same color as the desk, with the U-shaped desk design, so that the overall layout of the study is more enveloping, and the atmosphere is more immersive and focused.
At the transition between the entrance storage area and the study, a pocket door is designed, and the overall space is not only connected to each other as a smooth migratory line, but also can be switched to an independent space at any time.
A small square window is opened on the "Wood Cube", which allows the guest bathroom space to have a certain connection with the outside world, protecting privacy and making different spaces have a "dialogue".
To the left of the study, the whole space suddenly opens up, and you come to the living room.
Similarly, between the study and the living room, a linkage glass sliding door is designed to separate the two spaces, making the study a truly independent space and allowing the study to have a quiet environment.
As an open area on this migratory route, the living room and dining room provide ample storage space for the entire public area, and a whole side of suspended storage cabinets extends from the living room to the dining area.
The cabinet's use of simple colors, lines and sober stainless steel panels exudes an aesthetic of rationality and restraint.
The dark slate floor connects the logic of the entire space.
The wooden cube is close to the sunny corner of the living room, and a grooved light strip is designed, so that it is more ceremonial to enter the living room when you go home.
The installation design of the Sinachan star lamp injects a unique artistic atmosphere into the space through an unbalanced visual sense and a highly tense shape.
Floating storage cabinet behind the dining table, extending from the living room.
The dining room and kitchen area are integrated into the living balcony, which not only expands the area, but also increases the amount of daylight.
Built-in steam ovens, refrigerators, kitchen supplies, etc., are neatly stored in the cabinet to keep the kitchen space neat and orderly.
In the original structure, the exposed load-bearing columns were clad in stainless steel and interspersed with stainless steel elements in the public areas.
Behind the dining island is the Chinese kitchen, with a U-shaped layout that meets the scientific and convenient cooking line, and a gray flat cabinet door that also continues the flatness of other spaces.
The central hinge door becomes the focal point of the common area and connects the living room to the dining room.
The hinge door cleverly divides the public and private areas, as if to remind visitors that the "white cube" space ahead is not a casual realm.

Looking at the pivot door from the dining room.
The opening and closing angle of more than 180° can not only provide a sense of ritual when entering a private space, but also make it easy for the homeowner's family to enter and exit.
The walls and ceilings are made of wood veneer and painted with uniform white paint to achieve the purity of the walls and top cabinets.
The overall white space in the "White Cube" department, and the details of the wall and top joints make people have a special sense of futuristic technology when they go deep into the corridor.
Abandoning the accumulation of multiple materials and colors, under the subtraction operation of rational logic, the corridor space has become a blank canvas for the owner's life.
The master bedroom is divided by double-sided wardrobes and curved walls to form an independent system of the master bedroom, through which the owner can reach different functional areas such as cloakrooms, toilets, shower areas, sleeping spaces, and leisure balconies.
The curved wall smoothly connects to the leisure balcony as a whole, and the design of the wall is designed to give the master bedroom a dazzling visual effect.
A corner of the relaxing balcony.
The double-sided wardrobe goes inside to connect to the master bathroom.
The master bathroom adopts a double basin design, and the washbasin is connected to the extra-long slate countertop, which also brings a minimalist temperament to the bathroom.
