On December 2, the 48th Philippine Power & Energy Exhibition came to a successful conclusion at the SMX International Convention and Exhibition Center in Manila, Philippines!
The Philippine Electric Power & Energy Exhibition is organized by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc., the most representative local trade association in the PhilippinesAfter 46 years of development, the exhibition has become the most professional and largest power and energy exhibition in the Philippines.
The exhibition lasted for four days, set up 519 booths, nearly 300 exhibitors, Xintian Exhibition in the Philippine Power Exhibition, not only successfully organized enterprises to participate in the Philippines, but also successfully completed the construction task of the enterprise, the results are quite fruitful, and the exhibitors unanimously recognized!
In recent years, the electricity demand in the Philippines has been steadily increasing year by year, and with the rapid development of the Philippine economy in the future, domestic demand will continue to be strong, and there will be greater room for development in the power industry. In the face of unfavorable factors such as slowing global economic growth, high inflation, and persistent geopolitical conflicts, energy security has become an important driving force for the green and low-carbon transformation of the Philippine power industry.
The Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines has joined forces with multinational agencies to address the current energy dilemma and is committed to achieving the following goals in the Access to Sustainable Energy Programme (ASEP) project in cooperation with GIZ, an agency of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development
1.Achieving rural electrification targets through renewable energy;
2.improving energy efficiency;
3.Scaling up sustainable electricity** to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving economy;
4.Provide affordable energy systems to the poor that can be quickly restored after disasters.
Up to now, a total of 30 renewable energy projects have been applied under the Renewable Energy Law in 2008, with a potential power generation capacity of 2,365MW, including 14 hydropower projects, 1 geothermal project, 2 wind energy projects and 13 solar energy projects.
During the exhibition, the person in charge of the Xintian Convention and Exhibition project conducted in-depth exchanges with SMX and WTC, and is expected to develop more Philippine exhibitions, and Xintian Exhibition will organize Chinese enterprises to develop the Philippine market in depth along the direction of power and energy.
