The second stop is Kaiyuan.
From Maitreya to Kaiyuan City by car, the distance between the two cities is 938 km, the journey by car takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The idyllic scenery along the way is endless.
Kaiyuan is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, a transportation fortress and a central city in southeast Yunnan, and there are cement factories and fertilizer factories in the city. The main scenic spots are Nandong Scenic Area, Kaiyuan Changhongqiao and so on.
The third station is Jianshui.
Jianshui County, belonging to Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, is located in the south of Yunnan Province, on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Red River.
Jianshui has a mellow history, with a history of more than 1,200 years, known as "Zou Lu in southern Yunnan, a famous state of literature", and is a famous historical and cultural city in China. The Nanzhao regime built Huili City here during the Tang Yuanhe period (around 810), which belonged to the Tonghai Governor. Huili is an ancient Yi language, which means the sea, and is translated into Chinese as Jianshui.
1) Build an ancient city of water.
Jianshui Ancient City was founded in the Tang Dynasty, known as Lin'an in ancient times, with a history of more than 1,200 years, there are more than 50 ancient buildings retained in the ancient city, known as the "Ancient Architecture Museum" and "Folk Residence Museum".
The ancient city is like an ancient picture scroll, quietly showing the vicissitudes of history and the traces of the years, ancient wells, ancient towers, ancient streets, ancient archways, traditional houses are dotted, strolling in the streets and alleys of the ancient city, the steep ridges and cornices, the ancient buildings carved and painted, every brick and tile contains a beautiful story, all reflect the wisdom and ingenuity of the ancients.
On both sides of the avenue in the center of the ancient city, there are many alleys, which meander and mean, just like the veins of the ancient city, guiding visitors to travel back in time
Walking on the ancient mottled bluestone road, it seems that you can hear the words of history and feel the weight of the years.
The buildings in the city, such as the "Confucian Temple", "Yunnan Admiral School and Political Examination Shed", and "Lin'an Mansion Summer", remain intact.
The wells of Jianshui are very famous, strange in an "ancient" word, not only numerous, but also unique in shape.
The big slab well outside the west city, built in the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, is a well-known well in Jianshui and even Yunnan, the big slab well is worthy of its name, the well bar is inlaid with 6 stone slabs, the diameter of the wellhead is more than 3 meters, the well water is sweet and moist mouth, the special product of Jianshui - tofu is made with this well water.
The tofu of Jianshui Ancient City is famous, has a history of more than 600 years, there are restaurants and stalls of roasted tofu everywhere in the streets and alleys of the city, people sit around the charcoal fire, the tofu is placed on the iron wall and turns back and forth, and the tofu is swollen and bulging, it can be dipped in the condiments to eat.
The atmosphere of life in the ancient city is strong, there are many rural specialties sold in bamboo baskets, and the vegetables, fruits, cooked foods and other varieties in the vegetable market are complete, which makes people feast.
2) Tuanshan Ancient Village.
Tuanshan Ancient Village is a natural village, built by the mountain, has a history of more than 600 years, and there are more than 20 ancient houses and ancient buildings such as walled doors, temples and ancestral halls in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. The exquisiteness of the Tuanshan building, because there have been villagers living in it, has not decayed because of the long history, and the wood of many old houses is still immortal after more than 100 years. Therefore, Tuanshan is also known as the "ancient city of Loulan in Yunnan".
3) Shuanglong Bridge.
Located in the west of Jianshui City, Shuanglong Bridge was built in the Qing Dynasty, also known as the Seventeen Hole Bridge, with a long history and extraordinary momentum, it is the only ancient stone arch bridge in Jianshui, and it is also one of the landmark buildings in Jianshui. The bridge is 110 meters long, the whole bridge is made of large stones, the spacious and flat bridge deck is paved with tens of thousands of bluestone slabs, after hundreds of years of polishing, the bluestone slabs on the bridge deck have been smooth and shiny, telling a long historical story.
4) Little trains.
The small train of Jianshui Ancient City is a meter-gauge railway with a history of more than 110 years, with a total distance of about 13 kilometers and a speed of only 25 yards per hour, from Lin'an to Tuanshan. The carriages and ticket hall of the small train are wooden and full of nostalgia, so passengers can enjoy the scenery along the way.
Postscript: 1. Kaiyuan is a new industrial city, there are not many tourist attractions and it is not far from the city, and it can be used for one or two days.
Second, the price of Jianshui is not high, and the food is not expensive, 6 yuan for rice noodles (with slices of meat), plus an egg for 1 yuan.
Rental housing is not expensive, more than 300 400 are available. If you are a tourist accommodation, it is best to choose near the ancient city, where it is convenient. There are many bus lines in Jianshui, the transportation is convenient, and the fare is 2 yuan.
