According to CNN, Musk said, "It's going well, the patient seems to be completely **, without any adverse effects that we were able to realize......And be able to control the mouse and move the mouse around the screen just by thinking. ”

Musk also said that Neuralink is trying to get patients to "click as much as possible through their minds," including moving the computer mouse up and down.

Neuralink did not immediately respond to a request for comment, the report said.

As previously reported by CNBC, Neuralink is developing a brain implant designed to help severely paralyzed patients control external technology using only nerve signals. The company received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in May 2023 to conduct clinical studies in humans, after which it began recruiting trial participants.

On January 29, 2024, Musk said on social media that his brain-computer interface company Neuralink has completed the first human brain device implantation surgery, and the accessor is "recovering well".
