The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision Department, and the Real Estate Market Supervision Department recently held a pilot work seminar on the three systems of urban housing safety management in Beijing. The meeting pointed out that the establishment of three systems is a basic institutional arrangement to effectively solve the outstanding problems of urban housing safety in China and make up for the shortcomings of the existing housing safety governance system, which is of great significance for the overall high-quality development and high-level safety of housing and urban-rural construction.
Previously, Ni Hong, Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, pointed out that efforts should be made to improve the quality and build good houses. Improve the standard of housing construction, create a model of "good house", "cure" for old houses, and study the establishment of three systems of housing physical examination, pension and insurance, so as to provide safety guarantee for the whole life cycle of housing.
The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to adhere to the people-centered development philosophy, pay close attention to the implementation of tasks, solidly promote the pilot work, accelerate the construction of a long-term mechanism for safety management of the whole life cycle of housing, effectively improve the level of housing safety management, and maintain the safety of people's lives and property.
