The second sentence of the first chapter of the "Tao Te Ching": Nothing, the beginning of heaven and earth; Yes, the mother of all things.
Since Lao Tzu established an "ancestor" for all things in heaven and earth (later generations respected it as "Yuan Shi Tianzun"), he introduced the image and status of the "universe" of "truth, wholeness, greatness, and oneness" of this "Xianzun of all things", saying that the "universe" should be called "Tao" and the name should be called "great". And explain what it means to be "big". It turns out that according to Lao Tzu's meaning, only "dominating everything and not being dominated by others" is truly "great", and "only oneself is in charge of oneself", and the "Tao" of "Taoism and Nature" - that is, the universe is truly "great". And it is the real "big" that can change the infinite into the finite, and the ability to break through the finite into the infinite of itself, so that the infinite is equal to the finite, the finite is equal to the infinite, and the "big" is endless. The implication is that heaven, earth, and man cannot be regarded as truly and absolutely "great", because they can neither be "autonomous" nor "eternal", let alone "dominate everything".
This article focuses on the Tao, which is the function of the universe. The functions of the Tao are basically the "three major functions": biochemical function, motor function, and dominating function. Taken together, all functions are called "functions", and the functions of the universe are called "Tao uses". "Daoyong" is also called "mother, change, and law" separately. Mother, change, and law correspond to the function of biochemical nurturing, the function of movement change, and the function of physical laws. These "functions" are invisible, inaudible, but real. There is a saying that "there is nothing that cannot be imagined, and nothing that cannot be done." This is the "function" of the universe, the truly infinite function!
Everyone says, the function of the universe is with or without it?
In fact, all "effects" are "if there is nothing". To say that it "has" is impossible to find; Say it's "nothing", it's everywhere, and it's endless......
Looking back and saying, "No, the beginning of the world; Yes, the name of the mother of all things". Lao Tzu clearly said that "there are things mixed, born from nature", that is to say, all things in heaven and earth start from "being", why do you suddenly say that "nothing" is the beginning? In fact, it is easy to understand, because "being" also has a beginning, so the beginning of "being" is "nothing". Anything that is defined as "beginning" is "beginningless" before it begins, "nothing" before it begins, and "nothing" before everything that begins.
This can also be said to be the first function of the universe - the biochemical function, that is, the "mother".
"Mother" is "creating something out of nothing", there is the current state in the process of change and development of the Tao, not necessarily visible, touched, heard, but really felt and felt the state of "real", this "real" state Lao Tzu called "existence", and called it "the mother of all things".
"Mother of all things" is equal to being, and "being" is equal to the mother of all things.
As we all know, the function of the mother is "innate", but it is not possessed at the beginning, and it is not until the developmental changes have developed to a certain extent that it begins to have the function of "mother". The "mother" before the "mother" has the function of giving birth to all things in heaven and earth, that is, the "mother" before the "being", that is, before the "mother" begins, of course, it can only be "nothing". What is "nothing"?The function of giving birth to all things in heaven and earth! So what is "nothing"?Some of them are the body of the "mother" (Tao body) before giving birth to the functions of all things in heaven and earthAhhIt turned out to be the "Girlhood" of "Tao"!Wonderful!Wonderful!Wonderful!
Therefore, Lao Tzu said, "The Tao gives birth to all things, all things are born from being, and some are born from nothing."
Lao Tzu named the "beginning of heaven and earth" - "nothing", and the "mother of all things" named - "being".
In fact, everyone knows that "being" is "she", "nothing" is also "she", and "they" are the same "Tao". But everyone knows that "being" is not the "she" of "nothing", "nothing" is not the "she" of "being", and "they" are not "the same way".
Because between "nothing" and "being", there is a "boyhood" of "Tao" that changes in thousands of ways.
