In addition to the bronze horse's head knife, some artifacts with northern characteristics, such as bow-shaped vessels used for horse riding, were also found in Yinxu, and they entered the capital of the Shang Dynasty along with the exchange between ethnic groups.

In the new hall of Yinxu Museum, there are also exhibited pottery mustaches with the characteristics of the four directions, the pottery mustaches from the west are plump and round, the oriental pottery mustaches are more symmetrical, and the southern pottery mustaches are extremely slender. These pottery mustaches of different foot shapes unearthed in Yinxu reflect the extensive exchanges between the Shang Dynasty and the civilizations of the four directions.

Yue Zhanwei, researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences: The feet of the pottery are very thin, and they are also skimmed outward, which is a site in Hubei, called the Maojiazui site, which is a typical artifact of their place.
