During this year's Spring Festival holiday, in addition to traditional tourist attractions, rural tours have also become a popular choice.

The reporter went to Li Zu Village in Houzhai Street, Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, and saw a picture of white walls and tiles, and Qianmo vertical and horizontal. The parking lot is full of cars, the shops are filled with a variety of goods, and the quaint townscape attracts many tourists.

More than 20 years ago, Lizu Village was still a backward village that was "dirty, messy, and poor". However, with the launch of the "Thousand Villages Demonstration and Ten Thousand Villages Renovation" project in Zhejiang Province, Lizu Village has adapted to the times, developed from "nothing" to "creating something out of nothing", and built a rural life community of "co-construction, co-creation and sharing", realizing the win-win sharing of all rural subjects.

Ms. Wang, a tourist, expressed surprise: "I didn't expect this small mountain village to develop so well and become so popular during the Spring Festival. The gatehouse at the entrance of the village is written with "Rixin", "Moonlight" and "Microcosm", which shows the progress and changes of Lizu Village, and is also the epitome of the happy butterfly changes in many villages in Zhejiang.

According to the data, the per capita disposable income of villagers in Lizu Village has increased from less than 5,000 yuan in 2003 to 5 yuan in 202220,000 yuan, the annual income of the village collective also increased from 110,000 yuan increased to 2.68 million yuan, and the number of tourists in 2023 will reach more than 700,000.

In Xiaoliushi Village in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, there is infrastructure such as a glass overpass comparable to a large amusement park, a zipline, and a time and space tunnel with a "high-tech interactive experience". Mr. Li's family drove from the city to play because they heard that the fun items in Xiaoliushi Village were very interesting.

In the past, Xiaoliushi Village was a poor and backward village, and most of the villagers went out to work. However, in recent years, with the advancement of the construction of beautiful villages, the infrastructure of Xiaoliushi Village has been continuously improved, and it has become a popular tourist destination.

In the second half of 2016, Xiaoliushi Village decided to build a glass sky bridge, and since then the village has been full of vitality and attracted many tourists to experience it.

From Lizu Village to Xiaoliushi Village, the development and changes of rural areas in Zhejiang are remarkable, which is also a successful practice of the rural revitalization strategy. In the new year, we look forward to seeing more rural areas rejuvenated and making rural tourism an ideal place for people to relax and feel the countryside.

What are your thoughts on the development of rural tourism? How do you think rural tourism should be innovated to attract more tourists?
