Ji Xiaolan came out of Shanglian, and the nun scolded angrily It hasn't been finished yet
Ji Xiaolan, a shrewd, funny, upright and honest historical figure, undoubtedly left a deep impression on us. However, is Ji Xiaolan in history as humorous and knowledgeable as in film and television dramas?
The answer is yes. As an erudite genius under the imperial examination system, Ji Xiaolan is not just a nerd, he is also full of wit and humor. Once, when he went to the nunnery, he wrote the words "one straight through, two doors open", which made the nuns very angry.
However, Ji Xiaolan did not stop, he said: "I haven't finished writing yet." Next, let's appreciate Ji Xiaolan's talent together. When accompanying Qianlong to Mount Tai, Ji Xiaolan made couplets, which caused controversy.
However, this did not affect his talent, but made him more popular.
Ji Xiaolan accompanied Qianlong to Mount Tai, the head of the Five Mountains, and saw many temples, one of which was a nunnery called Doumu Palace, but it had a bad reputation because the nuns did not abide by the rules of Buddhism and often had scandals.
A new nunnery was built in the Doumu Palace, and the host hoped that Emperor Qianlong would write an inscription, but Qianlong hesitated, so he looked at Ji Xiaolan. Ji Xiaolan was a famous merry and talented man at that time, and he often lingered in Qinglou Goolan and other places, and Qianlong knew this very well.
So he ordered Ji Xiaolan to write a couplet for the nunnery. Ji Xiaolan thought for a moment, and wrote with a smile: "One straight pass, two open." When everyone saw this couplet, they couldn't help but be stunned.
Although this couplet seems ordinary, combined with the reputation of the nunnery, it is obviously a not very serious couplet.
Clever to resolve embarrassment, Ji Xiaolan was outstanding, and only six words reversed the couplet, winning the praise of the nun. It was originally a humiliating word, but after he skillfully rewrote it, it became a good sentence wishing the monastery to be prosperous, and it was praised by later generations.
His talent and wit impressed everyone.
Ji Xiaolan was wandering on the street with his friends, and he saw a restaurant proprietress busy, so he made a bet with his friend. He said that he could make the proprietress laugh with one sentence and then make the proprietress angry.
Friends didn't believe him, but Ji Xiaolan was confident. He walked to the door of the hotel, unexpectedly saluted a dog in front of the door, and called out "Daddy", and the proprietress laughed when she heard it.
However, Ji Xiaolan immediately turned to the proprietress and shouted "Niang", and the proprietress immediately changed from a smile to an angry face, and even scolded Ji Xiaolan. Despite this, Ji Xiaolan managed to use his wits to win the gamble and enjoy a free meal.
Although Ji Xiaolan is talented, he doesn't care much about his image. In the summer, he often worked in disheveled clothes, the equivalent of today's civil servants who often wore slippers, beach pants and tank tops to work, which was clearly a sign of national damage.
Despite this, Ji Xiaolan was still able to defuse the crisis and avoid possible dangers. This is where his wisdom and courage lie.
Has the emperor already left? When the emperor heard this, his face sank, and he immediately became angry with Ji Xiaolan.
In the face of a sudden crisis, Ji Xiaolan showed his outstanding talent, and gave new meanings to the three words "old man" through clever explanations. "Longevity without borders" represents the old, "standing up to the sky" represents the head, and "son" refers to the emperor as the son of heaven who descended from Ziweixing, and cleverly combines these three words to form the interpretation of "old man".
This wonderful solution calmed the anger of Emperor Qianlong, and at the same time made people admire him. Ji Xiaolan in history and film and television works is a talented figure, however, his private life is full of controversy.
If you want to understand the real Ji Xiaolan, you need to look for it in the history books and restore a real historical figure.
