54GHz multi channel coherent microwave signal generator

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-02-06

The Anapico APLC-X series is a multi-channel coherent signal generator with extremely fast switching speeds and very low phase noise, available in a 2U chassis4 output, highly coherent channels, each with a frequency range of up to and 54 GHz.

It is ideal for applications that require good signal quality, accuracy, and signal excitation over a wide output power range. The APLC-X series is a high-performance signal source from ANAPICO that combines very low phase noise with good spurious and harmonic rejection and extremely fast switching speeds (5 s).

The APLC-X series of high-stability OCXO references provides good frequency accuracy and stability. The generator accepts a wide range of external reference frequencies, including commonly used 10 and 100MHz, as well as flexible reference frequency options in the 1-250MHz range for applications with customer or system-specific reference frequencies.

In addition, the APLC-X Series features a pair of ANAPICO-specific high-frequency clock ports (3GHz input and output) for phase synchronization between the outputs of multiple APLC-X Series devices.

The APLC-X series can be controlled intuitively via PC-based graphical user interface software. In addition, the instrument offers a variety of communication interfaces, such as USB, LAN or GPIB.

Each interface can be communicated quickly and easily via the CPI 1999 command set. Remote control of the instrument can be quickly achieved from an external host system. Customer-provided application programming interfaces (APIs) or programming examples for MATLAB, LabVIEW, C++ and other commercially available tools make the control implementation very simple and intuitive.

Coherent Switching Function (Option PHS): The relative phase between channel 1 and channel 2 (signal 1 and signal 2) remains constant after channel 2 is temporarily switched to a different frequency.

Phase Memory (Option PHS): The signal returns to the same absolute phase as before when it returns to the previous frequency and amplitude settings
