On the third day of the Lunar New Year (February 12), the 11th Cloisonne Royal Art Temple Fair in 2024 will be officially opened at the Beijing Enamel Factory. At the temple fair, citizens who love cloisonne and traditional objects in old Beijing can not only visit and purchase cloisonné, ivory carving, jade carving, material ware, lacquerware, stone paintings and many other artistic products, but also experience the cloisonne production process - "point blue" skills. At the same time, the "Descendants of the Dragon" intangible cultural heritage cloisonne inheritance art exhibition will be unveiled at the same time, the exhibition will show the century-old inheritance of cloisonne culture through the "dragon" element, leading the audience to understand the ancient and modern history of cloisonne, and appreciate the beauty of craftsmanship up close.
Beijing Enamel Factory has launched a series of cloisonné works for five consecutive years since the "child mouse opens the sky", which is deeply loved by consumers. For example, the cloisonné "Twelve Beast Heads" drum jar designed and created by Zhong Liansheng, the chief craftsman of the enamel factory and the master of arts and crafts in Asia and China, has "fans" who come to buy and collect it every year.
This year, the "Twelve Beast Heads" drum jar launched the work "Dragon Walking Universiade", the top of the shape of the twelve beast heads of the Old Summer Palace "Dragon Head", the proportionally reduced dragon head chisel carving pattern is delicate, vivid, exquisite craftsmanship, and the combination of the drum-shaped small pot decorated with flowers, implying the new year's dragon luck, wealth rolling, wealth and auspiciousness. In addition, another series of works created by Zhong Liansheng, "Nine Dragon Wall Discs", is also very eye-catching.
This year, Li Jing, a master of Chinese arts and crafts, also continued to create the "Zodiac" puppet series pen holder "Year of the Dragon", showing the style of old Beijing. There are also other Beijing arts and crafts masters created by the "Dragon Pattern Ju Fu Na Cai", "Double Dragon Playing Pearls", "Dragon Leap Xiangrui" and other cloisonne works in the Year of the Dragon, which continue the Chinese New Year culture and zodiac cultural characteristics, highlighting the beauty of Chinese culture.
During the Spring Festival, the masters of arts and crafts will take turns to appear at the temple fair site to tell the audience about the creative process and the meaning of the works, and will also hand hand the "blue friends" who collect the works and take a group photo.
Up to now, the cloisonné royal art temple fair has been held for 11 years and has become a brand activity of the enamel factory. This year, the temple fair in the "Jingename" Art Garden cloisonne factory store also set up a Fu "vessel" exhibition and sales area, exhibiting and selling the cloisonne gourd bottle with the meaning of "Fu, Lu, and longevity", the Fu word tea canister, the cloisonne small gold bucket of fortune and treasure, the dragon and phoenix Chengxiang cloisonne gold treasure bowl, and the beauty of the box, cloisonne Fu word interstitial screen and other exquisite works of hundreds of pieces.
