Chengdu, 2 Feb (Xinhua) -- On 2 February, coinciding with the Lunar New Year, in Xin'an Village, Jinshi Town, Santai County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, firecrackers to welcome home their relatives who had been separated for 40 years were placed at the door of their homes from the entrance of the village, and 17 tables of "Ba Ba Banquet" were filled with the fathers and villagers who came to congratulate them.

40 years ago, Jiang Guangde and Li Xiuhua, who had both children and daughters, lived a happy little life, until a thunderbolt on a sunny day, so that the happy time was gone.
On November 8, 1984, it was the market day of Jinshi Township (Jinshi Town) in Santai County, and Li Xiuhua, who went to Changchang Town to sell eggs, met his 6-year-old son Jiang Huolin who was playing alone outside halfway. Li Xiuhua asked him to go home, but the child was unwilling. Thinking that he usually played in that area, and the child was also very clever, I didn't force him. Li Xiuhua said.
The child did not return home that night, and he searched all over his relatives' houses and was nowhere to be found. Jiang Guangde and his wife immediately called the police and mobilized the neighbors to search for them, but their son seemed to have evaporated from the world.
Since the loss of the child, the Chinese New Year has become a hurdle for the Jiang family. They have been looking forward to the day when the family of four will be able to sit together for a Chinese New Year's Eve dinner.
That year, Jiang Huolin, who was abducted and trafficked to Hengshui City, Hebei Province, was adopted by a family surnamed Liu and had a new name - Liu Yongwang. He remembered his biological father's name, and he also remembered that he loved his biological mother and sister, but there was a vast sea of people, and he was still young when he was abducted, and searching for relatives was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

In 2011, Liu Yongwang became a family and had children of his own, and his desire to find relatives was even stronger. "If you don't look for it, you may be left with regrets. So he took the initiative to go to the public security organ to collect biological samples. In 2015, he went to Sichuan to look for relatives based on the information provided by volunteers. The closest time he came to home, he went to Mianyang, trying to find an old man with the same pronunciation as his biological father's name, but he returned in vain.
Over the years, the family in Santai County has not given up. The day Jiang Huolin went missing was his sister Jiang Jianxiang's 14th birthday. "For 40 years, when this day comes, my heart hurts like being cut by a knife. Jiang Jianxiang said. Over the years, she has traveled to many places to work, and everywhere she went, she asked for news of the boys who had been abducted and trafficked to the local area. The closest to her brother, she found Handan, Hebei.

In 2017, Liu Yongwang came to Chengdu to work, only more than 100 kilometers away from home, but the family that was separated by fate did not know it.
At the end of October 2023, Jiang Jianxiang's husband Yin Xiantao asked for help from the Mianyang Public Security Hu Xiangyu Studio through the "Ping An Mianyang" WeChat***. **Biological samples of Jiang Guangde and Li Xiuhua were collected at the scene, and an in-depth analysis was conducted on the disappearance of the children and the direction in which they may have been trafficked.
A week later, after a preliminary comparison of the anti-abduction system of the national public security organs, it was found that Jiang Guangde, Li Xiuhua and Liu Yongwang were suspected to be related, and they were immediately notified to collect biological samples again. After further investigation and secondary DNA kinship identification and review, on January 20, 2024, the national public security organs' anti-trafficking system confirmed that Jiang Guangde and Li Xiuhua from Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, and Liu Yongwang, from Hengshui, Hebei Province, meet the genetic markers of triplet kinship and have a biological genetic relationship.
