Recently, a number of "children of the country" have traveled from Inner Mongolia to Jiangsu and other places to reunite with their relatives who have been separated for more than half a century. The story of "3,000 orphans entering Inner Mongolia", which happened more than 60 years ago, was talked about again.
In the late 50s and early 60s of the 20th century, more than 3,000 orphans came to the Inner Mongolia prairie from many provinces and cities in the south, and grew up under the care of the local people, achieving the good story of "3,000 orphans entering Inner Mongolia", and they are also affectionately called "children of the country".
For more than 60 years, these "children of the country" have grown up and started families in the vast land of Inner Mongolia. Now that they are in old age, the idea that "life should know where it comes from" is getting stronger and stronger.
In recent years, thanks to the "reunion" action organized by the Ministry of Public Security, as well as the continuous improvement of the DNA database, one after another "children of the country" have successfully searched for their relatives. The scenes of reunion have written a touching new chapter for this historical story.
