On the morning of January 23, 2024, the practice team of the School of Economics and Management of Fuzhou University came to the Xiamen Museum to visit the "Fujian and Taiwan History and Culture Exhibition".

From the exhibition, the team members learned that the formation of the Taiwan Strait is inseparable from the change of sea level. During the Ice Age, sea levels fell, straits were formed, and ancient animals and humans continued to move into the island; With the end of the ice age, the sea level rose to form a strait to geographically separate the two sides of the strait, but the ancestors still broke through the barrier of stormy waves and maintained close economic and cultural exchanges, so 80% of the ancestors of Taiwan compatriots came from Fujian.

The members of the practice team carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions around the experience of visiting the museum, deeply understood the entrepreneurial experience of the ancestors on both sides of the strait, and unanimously agreed that "geographical proximity" is the "first edge" of the five edges, revealing that the two sides of the strait have the same root and origin, and belong to the same family from the perspective of geography and history. With a common vision for a better life, the ancestors laid the foundation and established a career, unveiled the magnificent and moving epic of the development of the two sides of the strait, wrote countless touching deeds that can be sung and wept, and jointly opened up the living space and spiritual home of the people on both sides of the strait.

The practice team of the School of Economics and Management of Fuzhou University contributed to the practice team of "Fujian and Taiwan have deep feelings, and culture on both sides of the strait".
