Everton Update:
Everton's performances this season have been relatively mediocre. Despite their record of eight wins, six draws and 11 defeats after 25 league games, they have been deducted 10 points for violating the Premier League's rules of profitability and sustainability, and are currently 17th in the table, level on points from the relegation zone. This puts them under huge relegation pressure and they need to go all out to win every game. However, judging by the recent situation, their form is not ideal. They managed a 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace in their last league fixture, which is already their eighth consecutive league game without a win. Despite this, their performance on the road is positive, with five wins, two draws and five defeats on the road in the league this season.
Overall analysis: Brighton are stronger than Everton in terms of overall strength and home playability. Everton, on the other hand, are under huge relegation pressure, but their performance on the road is still somewhat competitive. Therefore, this game is more favourable for Brighton to get a small win at home.
