In an ancient village in southern China, there is a place called "Ghost Forest" by the villagers. The woods are dense and deep, shrouded in a layer of mist all year round, and sunlight is difficult to penetrate. According to the legend of the villagers, the ghost of a woman named Su Su lived in the ghost forest, who was beautiful and kind when she was alive, but died of hatred due to a tragedy and turned into a resentful spirit.

One day, a young scholar passed by the village, and he heard Susu's story and felt sympathy. The scholar decides to enter the Ghost Forest at night in an attempt to help Su Su's soul find peace. He took an oil lamp with him and stepped into this mysterious wood.

The ghost forest in the night looked like a god, and the scholar was walking and walking, when he suddenly heard a woman's cry. He followed the sound and found a dilapidated thatched hut from which the crying sounded out. The scholar plucked up his courage and pushed the door open, only to see a woman in ancient costume sitting in front of a loom and crying.

The woman raised her head, and the scholar was surprised to find that she was the legendary Susu. Su Su told the scholar what had happened to her, and her eyes were full of sadness and anger. When the scholar heard this, he was furious, and he decided to seek justice for Su Su.

The scholar returned to the village and inquired about the scholar's whereabouts. After some hard work, he finally found the greedy scholar. The scholar exposed his crimes, and the villagers angrily drove him out of the village. The scholar also found Su Su's relics and brought them back to the Ghost Forest and placed them in Su Su's thatched hut.

This story has been passed down in the village for many years and has become a sad piece of folklore. It is a reminder that greed and betrayal bring evil results, while kindness and justice are rewarded in the end. Susu's story has also become an eternal warning in the hearts of the villagers.
