On January 25, after 22 days of hoisting operations, the lattice girder of the main bridge deck of the Pinglu Canal Jiuzhou Bridge of the Nanzhan Expressway key control project was hoisted completely, marking the completion of the installation of the main steel structure of more than 5,300 tons of the bridge, and it is about to enter the construction links such as the installation of permanent tie rods on the main pier and the pavement of the main bridge deck.

The total length of the Pinglu Canal Jiuzhou Bridge is about 525 meters, and the main bridge is a 260-meter-diameter under-supported concrete-filled steel tubular tie arch bridge, which adopts the overall lifting construction technology of "low-level assembly + middle section arch rib gantry method", the overall lifting section is 202 meters long, the lifting weight is about 1800 tons, and the lifting height is 63 meters, which is currently the world's largest arch rib overall lifting span and tonnage of concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge.
The bridge deck girder of the Jiuzhou Bridge of the Pinglu Canal is designed as a steel-concrete composite bridge deck with steel lattice girders, and the steel consumption of the whole bridge lattice girder is more than 2,400 tons. Affected by the large camber of the position of the temporary tie rod and the arch rib arch foot of the main pier, the distance of the mechanical working surface is short, and the construction is difficult. In order to complete the lattice beam hoisting task with high quality, the construction team has organized and held lattice beam hoisting construction technology seminars for many times, and carried out strict safety technical disclosure on key contents such as hoisting process, mechanical configuration, construction organization, and aerial work to ensure the smooth progress of each construction link.
In addition, the construction team set up a number of primary and secondary observation points at the anchor points on the lattice girders and arch rib booms in each segment to monitor the deformation of the bridge pier and arch base, the alignment of the arch ribs, the geometry of the lattice beam, the stress of the pier, the arch ring, the lattice beam and the boom force in real time, and timely feedback the measurement data to the site to ensure the stability and installation accuracy of the overall structure of the bridge.
The hoisting of the last lattice girder of the Jiuzhou Bridge of the Pinglu Canal was completed.
In the end, the one-time welding pass rate of 400 joints of the lattice girder of the whole bridge lattice beam of the Jiuzhou Bridge of the Pinglu Canal reached 100%, and the maximum deviation of the elevation and 8mm of the axis was achieved in the installation accuracy of the segments.
It is reported that the main bridge of the Jiuzhou Bridge of the Pinglu Canal spans the Pinglu Canal, which will become one of the important passages connecting both sides of the Pinglu Canal after its completion and opening to traffic, helping the Nanzhan Expressway to become a more convenient new inter-provincial highway passage from Nanning City, Guangxi to Zhanjiang City, Guangdong.
