Fast Technology reported on February 21 that according to the official WeChat news of the "Aviation Industry", in order to complete the low-temperature test flight task, two AG600M (1003 and 1005) were transferred to Dongshan Airport in Hailar, Inner Mongolia on January 22 and January 30 respectively, after a long-distance journey of nearly 6 hours and more than 2,200 kilometers, and successively transferred to Dongshan Airport in Hailar, Inner Mongolia, to start the verification task related to the low temperature environment.

In 10 days, AG600M has completed the functional performance tests of each system of the whole aircraft under the conditions of -20 to -40, and verified the use and maintenance procedures of the aircraft such as low temperature, defrosting, and snow removal.

Its power plant system, fuel system, hydraulic system, flight control system, avionics system, landing gear system and other key systems have passed the low-temperature ground test and flight test verification.

The test needed to verify the performance of the aircraft fuel, hydraulics and other systems after 12 hours of cold soaking, but the next day's test required the engine to be kept at a temperature of -20, below which the engine temperature needed to be maintained by starting the engine.

After consulting the relevant data, the team needs to start the engine every two hours, and before starting, the team also needs to install two on-board power supplies of about 80 pounds on the aircraft, and after the drive is completed, the power supply will be disassembled, and then carried to the garage for storage. In one night, seven or eight people on duty need to go back and forth five times.

It is reported that this is also the longest distance and the most complex route environment of the AG600M since the first flight. Whether it is in Hailar or on the way to and from Hailar, "Kunlong" has passed the test of extremely cold weather with its excellent performance indicators.
