The building was built in 1903 and is located at No. 22, Health Street, Xiangfang District. The architectural style and relief of the "White Hair General's Mansion" are full of European style, and the mottled pale yellow building and white column carvings reveal the weight and vicissitudes of history. Next to the current building is a historical and cultural square, with a brick paving road above the square.
Looking for the "Impression of Harbin" in film and television dramas
After checking in at the Harbin White House, you can walk east for about seven or eight minutes along a small street called Tongzhan Street next to the square, which is the Centennial Xiangfang Railway Station. Xiangfang railway station is a typical Russian building.
Like the white-haired general's mansion, the wall color of Xiangfang Railway Station is also beige, supplemented by white line decoration, showing a rich and elegant temperament. Although the area of Xiangfang Railway Station is not large, it is the first railway station in Harbin. In 1898, the construction of the Middle East Railway and the establishment of a railway station in Xiangfang, which became the starting point and symbol of the construction of Harbin, and Xiangfang District was also known as "the childhood of Harbin city" and "the mother of Harbin urban construction".
Walking into the train station, I saw that the waiting hall was not spacious and there was no crowd. The waiting room adopts a simple decoration style, showing quietness, which matches the atmosphere of the border city station in the film and television drama. Through the windows of the waiting room, you can also see the old train cars. The staff said that at present, there is no high-speed rail passing by Xiangfang Railway Station.
