The final results of the 4-year Common University Test for Japanese Universities have been announced!

On February 5, 2024, the Japan University Admissions Center announced the final results of the 2024 Common Test for Japanese Universities.

According to the summary results, the number of applicants in FY24 was 491,914, and the total number of actual exams was 457,608, and the test taking rate (number of test takers and number of applicants 100) was 9303%, compared to 92 in the previous year (2023).48% increased by 055 percentage points. The average number of subjects to be taken is 567 subjects.

According to the final statistics of the University Entrance Examination Center, the average scores of each subject in this year's examination are as follows.

The average score of the Japanese language is 11650 points.

A total of 864 universities, vocational schools, and junior colleges have passed the Common Test. Among them, there are 82 national universities, 95 public universities, 530 private universities, 2 public vocational schools, 8 private vocational schools, 13 public junior colleges, and 134 private junior colleges.

The preliminary exams for the national university will begin on February 25, the mid-term exams will start on March 8, and the post-term exams will start on March 12.
