On January 28, 2024, under the careful guidance of Mr. Liu Zhaoyu, the practice team successfully held an online meeting. The background to the meeting stemmed from last week's questionnaire survey, which aims to gain insight into the living conditions and needs of older people, so as to provide them with more intimate and targeted services.
In order to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the survey results, the practice team distributed a total of 400 questionnaires and successfully received 392 valid questionnaires. The survey subjects of these questionnaires mainly include young and middle-aged people with elderly people in their families, as well as the elderly in communities and elderly care institutions. Through these survey respondents, they hope to have a comprehensive understanding of the living conditions and needs of the elderly, and provide strong data support for subsequent work.
In terms of questionnaire design, the practice team members considered the daily life, health status, social activities, psychological status and other aspects of the elderly. Through these questions, the practice team members hope to have a deeper understanding of the living conditions and needs of the elderly, and provide better services for the elderly.
In addition, health issues are also one of the priorities of the elderly. Many older people say they want to be able to better manage their health and prevent the occurrence of various diseases. In terms of psychological conditions, some elderly people show a certain sense of loneliness and anxiety. This may be related to factors such as the living situation, physical health, and family status of the elderly. In response to this situation, the practice team members will strengthen mental health care for the elderly and provide psychological counseling services to help them alleviate loneliness and anxiety.
Based on the above survey results, the practice team decided to carry out a series of targeted services. First of all, the practice team members will strengthen the mental health care for the elderly and provide psychological counseling services. This service will be provided by professional psychological counselors, who will communicate with the elderly through **, the Internet, etc., to help them solve psychological problems. At the same time, the practice team members will also organize some interesting community activities to encourage the active participation of the elderly and enhance their social interaction. This service will be provided by professional doctors to provide personalized health advice and guidance to the elderly through **, the web, etc. These services will help improve the quality of life of the elderly and make them feel more cared for and warm. The successful convening of this meeting provided valuable ideas for the next step of the practice team and pointed out the direction for further work. The practice team members are deeply aware that the elderly are an important part of society, and their quality of life is directly related to the harmony and stability of society. Therefore, we must conscientiously fulfill our social responsibilities, care about the living conditions and needs of the elderly, and provide them with more intimate and targeted services. In the future work, we will formulate a practical work plan based on the results of the questionnaire survey, strengthen cooperation with the first department, community, and pension institutions, and jointly promote the development of the cause of the elderly.
