Zhu Yuanzhang said, we killed the calf and roasted it. So he pulled a blade of grass and cut off the head of the calf, and his companions brought firewood and put the calf on a stone, and roasted it and ate it.
Zhu Yuanzhang lived in poverty when he was a teenager, and often herded cattle and chopped firewood with some poor children. Later, Zhu Yuanzhang became the emperor, and some poor friends in the past wanted to get a little light with him and get an official position, so two people went to the capital to find him. After seeing Zhu Yuanzhang, one of them chattered about the scene of them mowing the grass together, and Zhu Yuanzhang immediately ordered him to be killed.
After Zhu Yuanzhang became the emperor, he often paid private visits to understand the lives of the people. One year during the Spring Festival, Zhu Yuanzhang asked the gates inside and outside the imperial city to be pasted with Spring Festival couplets.
The tomb selected by Zhu Yuanzhang is also to the west of the filial piety tomb, and there is an ancient tomb of Sun Quan. According to legend, Zhu Yuanzhang once went to Taixue to inspect, and a cook came to offer tea, and the answer was fluent and decent. Zhu Yuanzhang was very happy, so he passed down the order to reward the cook with clothes and a jade belt.
On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, Zhu Yuanzhang went out on patrol in micro-clothes on the street, and accidentally saw a painting on which a woman was holding a big watermelon in her arms and a pair of big feet, so he thought that he was mocking the queen, but fortunately, the store later changed the painting and was not poisoned.
