In the Lantern Festival, how happy it should be to be able to eat a bowl of rice balls made by yourself! On February 23, Huangjiang Town Experimental Primary School organized the "Hot and Hot Lantern Festival, Happy Reunion" to celebrate the Lantern Festival, so that students can experience the charm of traditional culture in the activity, and at the same time further promote the relationship between teachers and students, parents and children, and vigorously promote home-school co-education.

This activity is based on the principle of class as a unit and voluntary participation of parents. The scene was full of New Year's flavor, and students and parents participated in activities such as making rice balls, boiling rice balls, and guessing lantern riddles.

Under the guidance of parents and teachers, students make dumplings by hand, rubbing, pinching and pressing a ball of glutinous rice noodles in their hands to form a ball. During the event, the students not only learned about the production process of traditional food, but also tasted the rice balls they made by themselves, and felt the warmth of the festival.

This year, Huangjiang Town Experimental Primary School carefully planned the "Winter Vacation Homework of Integrated Disciplines", and designed diversified and personalized subject homework with the theme of "Dragon" during the winter vacation, leading students to discover and create the beauty of educational life and share the full flavor of the Year of the Dragon holiday.

Among them, the school planned a lantern making course for the Lantern Festival in advance, and organized students to make a variety of small lanterns using empty "red packets". On the day of the Lantern Festival, these unique small lanterns were hung in classrooms, corridors, and lobbies, becoming the most beautiful scenery on campus, attracting teachers and students to stop and watch frequently.

In addition, the special children of the Ronghui class of Huangjiang Town Experimental Primary School also celebrated the Lantern Festival with the children of the ordinary class in this festival full of warmth, guessing lantern riddles, rings, sharing snacks, and also incarnated as a "jumping dragon" together, bouncing on the playground, feeling the traditional culture "throwing pots" together, and sharing the joy of success.

We hope that through a series of Lantern Festival activities, children can experience traditional Chinese culture, further broaden students' knowledge through the integration of disciplines, and further enhance the parent-child relationship between students and parents, and promote communication and collaboration between students. Xie Wanjiao, principal of Huangjiang Experimental Primary School, said.
