Today a calligraphy "Filial Piety" is launched. This is the first time I have written about this theme since I created this kind of "auspicious door sticker calligraphy" in 2016. However, I think that the word "filial piety" is a more practical theme than Fu, Shou, Kang, Ning and other themes, and it is suitable for hanging and posting in almost any family.
As the old saying goes: "Filial piety comes first." "Filial piety and respect for relatives is a glorious tradition formed by the Chinese nation for thousands of years, and there is no shortage of typical characters of filial piety and respect for relatives in the past dynasties, and there are "Twenty-four Filial Piety Pictures" in the world. Looking at the family rules and family mottos of various surnames handed down in history, the word "filial piety" is put in the first place. Since the founding of New China, the party and the state have also vigorously advocated filial piety and respect for relatives as an important part of spiritual civilization. Therefore, the culture of filial piety, which has formed a complete system from ancient times to the present, from top to bottom, will never become obsolete.
The core meaning of the calligraphy of "filial piety" that I launched is the golden couplet: "The ancestors are virtuous, and the sons and grandsons are virtuous." It means that every surname, every family, its ancestors have a glorious example of high morality and respect, and its merits are always worth remembering, and forgetting ancestors means forgetting their roots; The contemporary generation inherits the spiritual and material heritage left by their ancestors, and they should all keep it in mind and never forget it. At the same time, every family should form a good atmosphere of filial piety and respect for relatives, the ears and eyes are touched, the upward and downward effects, the filial piety of the children and grandchildren, the grace of future generations, filial piety and respect for the good family style will be passed on from generation to generation. Therefore, this calligraphy hangs at home, which is the motto of the whole family.
This calligraphy is written with "Dragon and Phoenix Chengxiang Wannian Red Door Sticker", and the specific size is 45x45 cm.
