"Qingping Tune: Part II".
Li Bai Tang Dynasty
A branch of dew condenses incense, and the clouds and rain Wushan break the intestines in vain.
By asking who in the Han Palace is like, poor Feiyan leans on new makeup.
Translations. The concubine is really a peony with dew, gorgeous and fragrant, the king of Chu and the goddess and the witch mountain meet, and they are sad and heartbroken in vain. May I ask the Han Palace's favored concubines, who can be similar to her? Zhao Feiyan, who is extremely cute, has to rely on new makeup!
Exegesis. Feiyan: Zhao Feiyan, Empress of the Western Han Dynasty.
Makeup: Retouch your dress.
This one, writing about the favored concubine. The first sentence writes that the flowers are fragrant and dewed, setting off the favor of the concubine and the king; The two sentences write about the vain of the king of Chu meeting the goddess, setting off the benefits of the concubine; In three or four sentences, Zhao Feiyan can be called a peerless beauty, but she relies on new makeup to set off the natural national color of the concubine. The poet used the method of suppressing the goddess and the swallow to promote the flower and moon appearance of Yang Guifei.
Background of creation. This poem was written by Li Bai when he was in Chang'an for Hanlin. Once, Emperor Tang Ming and Yang Guifei watched peonies in the Agarwood Pavilion, and Li Bai was ordered to make a new movement, and Li Bai was ordered to make this chapter.
Li Bai (701-762), the word Taibai, the name of Qinglian Jushi, also known as the "Immortal", the great romantic poet of the Tang Dynasty, was praised as the "poet immortal" by later generations, and Du Fu was called "Li Du", in order to distinguish it from the other two poets Li Shangyin and Du Mu, that is, "Little Li Du", Du Fu and Li Bai are also called "Big Li Du". According to the "New Tang Dynasty Book", Li Bai was the ninth grandson of Emperor Xingsheng (Li Hui, King of Liangwu Zhao), and was the same ancestor as the kings of Li and Tang. He is hearty and generous, loves to drink and write poetry, and likes to make friends. Li Bai was deeply influenced by Huang Lao Liezhuang's thoughts, there is "Li Taibai Collection" handed down, most of the poems are written when drunk, and the representative works include "Wanglu Mountain Waterfall", "Difficult to Travel", "Shu Road Difficult", "Will Enter the Wine", "Early White Emperor City" and so on.
Farewell to Jinling Wine Shop".
Li Bai Tang Dynasty
The wind blows the willow flowers all over the store, and Wu Ji presses the wine to persuade the guests to taste it.
The children of Jinling came to send each other, and they wanted to do their best.
Please ask the eastward flowing water, don't you care who is short and long?
Translations. The spring breeze blew the catkins and the hotel was full of fragrance, and the maid brought out the wine and persuaded me to taste it.
Young friends from Jinling rushed to see each other off. If you want to go or stay, you can drink joys and sorrows.
May you ask the eastward flowing river, who is shorter and who is longer than it?
Exegesis. Jinling: present-day Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Restaurant: Hotel. Farewell: Leave a poem for the send-off.
The wind blows: a "white door".
Wu Ji: A young woman from Wu Land, here refers to the maid in the hotel.
Wine pressing: Pressing the dregs to extract the wine. In ancient times, the new wine was brewed, and it was pressed and used when it was drunk.
Calling: one for "persuasion", one for "making".
Child: refers to Li Bai's friend.
Desire to walk: the one who is about to go, refers to the poet himself. No: The person who does not leave, that is, the person who sees him off, refers to the children of Jinling.
尽觞 (shāng): Drink the wine in the cup. Glasses.
Question: A "ask".
The poem is cleverly conceived. The first sentence "the wind blows the willow flowers all over the store", is the realm of no one, the second sentence "Wu Ji presses the wine to persuade the guests to taste", when the red powder meets the drinker, there are people on the scene, and when the "Jinling children" this group of teenagers arrive, the hotel is even more lively. On the occasion of parting, I may not have the heart to drink, but Wu Ji persuaded him, how affectionate, and the arrival of the "children of Jinling", he felt that he was even more affectionate, and no one wanted to give up. But I just want to go, and the three words "come and send each other" are folded, and I poured a basin of cold water on the lively scene above, pointing out that the lively and prosperous is the prelude to the cold and lonely. Li Bai is leaving Jinling. However, with such a hot and spicy trick, you can't just take a big step and go. So it turned to "if you want to do it, you can't do it", the poet who wants to do it is intoxicated, and the people who can't send it are also exhausted, and the affection is so long, so it falls out of the ending sentence of "Please try to ask the flowing water, don't want to be short and long with whom", with implicit brushwork, leisurely and endlessly ended this lyrical short song.
Please ask the eastward flowing water, don't you care who is short and long? That was the end of the story. Send you a thousand miles, there will be a farewell, this parting feast will eventually be dispersed, at this time to send each other, the sentimentality in the heart can not be self-contained, the poet borrowed water romance, allegorical in things, expressed the feelings of farewell - I and my friends parting with the meaning of the eastward water compared with which is longer? Its spirit reflects the poet's romantic and bold consistent style, and it cannot but remind people of the poet's sentence "The Peach Blossom Pond is a thousand feet deep, not as deep as Wang Lun to send me love". ”
Background of creation. This poem was written in 726 A.D. (the 14th year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty). In the autumn of the year of his expulsion from Shu, Li Bai stayed in Jinling (now Nanjing, Jiangsu) for about half a year. In the spring of the fourteenth year of Kaiyuan, the poet went to Yangzhou, and when he was leaving, his friends were in the hotel for him, and Li Bai wrote this poem to say goodbye.
