Stilt trees in one of the natural wonders of Lake Baikal. They grow on sandy hillsides, where strong winds sweep away the soil from under the roots, which dig deeper and deeper into the poor soil in order for the tree to survive, so the roots arch over the surface.

At the outlet of the lake, there is a huge boulder known as Mansky. It is about 500 meters from each bank, and when the river floods and submerges the cobblestones, the cobblestones seem to roll.
