Open the first app you want to run in split-screen mode.

Find the second app you want to run in split screen: In the preview of a recent app, long press the icon or preview of the second app, then drag to the top or side of the screen, depending on the brand and Android version of your phone.
Select the second app: Once the first app is pinned to one side of the screen, you'll be asked to select another app to occupy the other side of the screen.
Adjust the split-screen view: You can resize the two app views by dragging the divider in the middle.
The split-screen feature on iOS is mainly available on the iPad and is called "Split View" and "Slide Over".
