Have you ever wondered if hamsters can eat dried instant noodles? This question may sound strange, after all, instant noodles are human food and contain a lot of oil, salt, and additives, which do not seem to be good for the health of hamsters. However, if you're a curious hamster owner, or if your hamster is a curious little guy, you might want to give it a try and see if the hamster will enjoy eating dry instant noodles or how they will react after eating them.
To answer this question, I did a little experiment, I prepared two different instant noodles, one is regular instant noodles and the other is oil-free and salt-free pasta, I broke them all into small pieces and put them in two separate bowls for my hamster to choose from. I also prepared some hamster food and water as a control group. I put the bowls in the hamster's cage and observed the hamster's behavior and reactions.
I was amazed at the results of the experiment, my hamster showed a lot of interest in instant noodles, he first sniffed the instant noodles, then he started to nibble on them, and after a while, he ate several pieces, and he also hid some instant noodles in his cheek pouch and was ready to eat them later. It was also interested in pasta and ate some, but not as much as instant noodles. It has little interest in hamster food and water, and only drinks a little water occasionally, probably because the instant noodles are too dry.
I thought the hamster would be happy eating instant noodles, but it didn't take long for me to notice that the hamster was not in a good state, it started to become lazy and unwilling to move, just curled up in the corner, its eyes also became very dull, and its feces became very thin and had some yellow mucus. I thought the hamster might have eaten a bad stomach, so I quickly took all the instant noodles away, changed it with some fresh water and hamster food, and gave it some dandelions and carrots, hoping that it would recover its health.
After a day of observation, I found that the hamster's condition has improved, it is starting to have some vitality, and it is willing to eat some hamster food and fruits, and its feces have become normal, not so runny, and there is no yellow mucus. I breathed a sigh of relief and thought that the hamster should be fine, but I also made up my mind that I would never give the hamster instant noodles again.
Through this little experiment, I got a revelation, that is, hamsters are not suitable for eating dry instant noodles, because instant noodles contain many harmful ingredients for hamsters, such as oil, salt and additives, which can affect the hamster's digestive system, causing diarrhea, dehydration and malnutrition, and even endangering the hamster's life. Although hamsters may like to eat instant noodles, it does not mean that it is good to be convenient for them, as the owners of hamsters, we should provide them with suitable food, such as hamster food, fruits, vegetables and insects, so as to ensure the health and happiness of hamsters.
