In May of the 45th year of Qianlong, Emperor Qianlong personally gave marriage and married his favorite ten princesses, Gulun and Princess Xiao, to Heshen's eldest son, Fengshen Yinde. At that time, the princess and Feng Shen Yinde were still young, only seven years old.
For their marriage, Qianlong also deliberately asked He Shen to take out a sum of money from the Internal Affairs Office to build a wedding house for them. When the marriage house is completed, they will be of the age of marriage.
In accordance with Qianlong's will, He Shen went to the Internal Affairs Office to withdraw money and began to build Princess Hexiao's Mansion. He found a feng shui master and deliberately chose to build a mansion near Shichahai.
This mansion is both the residence of Princess Hyo and the place where Hwa Shen will live in the future. He Shen believes in Feng Shui very much, and there are two dragon veins in the people of the capital, one is the earth dragon vein, which is the location of the Forbidden City, and the other is the water dragon vein, which is said to be near the southwest corner of Shichahai.
And Heshen chose to build a mansion here, precisely because of its status as a water dragon vein.
Because of its geographical location between Houhai and Beihai, the shape of the Heshen mansion resembles a dragon, so it is called the water dragon vein. Feng Shui believes that water can accumulate wealth, and the location of the mansion is above the water dragon vein, and there is a lake water inside, which only flows inward and not outward, forming a typical layout of accumulating wealth with water.
In addition, the mansion is also close to the mountains and rivers, and the geographical location is close to the Forbidden City, where the emperor lives, which can be contaminated with the true dragon spirit of the Qianlong Emperor. He Shen loved this treasure land very early, so after receiving the holy decree to build Princess Hexiao's mansion, he immediately used the money of the Internal Affairs Office to acquire more than a dozen surrounding houses, demolished and rebuilt, and occupied a lot of places, and finally built an area of about 670,000 square meters of mansion.
In the fifty-fourth year of Qianlong (1789), Princess Hexiao and Fengshen Yinde tied the knot, and they moved into the newly built Princess Hexiao Mansion, and Heshen's family also moved into this mansion.
He Shen was convinced that the feng shui of this mansion was excellent and could bring wealth, so he believed that most of his wealth was due to the feng shui of this mansion. As a result, his mansion caught Yongxuan's attention.
Yongxuan was Qianlong's seventeenth son, and he did not want to be emperor, but hoped that after his two elder brothers became emperors, he would be able to get Heshen's mansion. Yongxuan regards money as his life and is very greedy, and he has always envied Heshen's wealth and mansions, hoping to get them.
Yongxuan has a special love for financial management and business investment since he was a child, and when he was an adult, he was given a pawnshop by the Qianlong Internal Affairs Office, and he doubled the value of the pawnshop in just over two years, which is enough to show his business acumen.
Although He Shen is **, he is also a rare financial master in ancient and modern times, he can always fill the treasury under the management of the household department and the internal affairs government, which is also one of the reasons why Qianlong favored him.
What's more worth mentioning is that He Shen used the greedy money to make business investments, and even foresaw the possibility of transnational **, building a huge business empire.
Therefore, Yongxuan greatly admires Heshen's business acumen and financial management ability. His words were not only to show the two brothers that he had no intention of competing for the throne, but also to express his love for the mansion of Heshen.
Jiaqing and Yongxuan are from the same mother, the filial piety queen Wei Jia. When Wei Jia's family died, Yongxuan was young, so Jiaqing loved his younger brother. He Shen was given to die in Jiaqing four years, and his family property was confiscated.
Jiaqing canonized Yongxuan as the king of Qingjun, and in order to fulfill the agreement with his younger brother in the past, he gave Yongxuan the mansion of Heshen as the palace of Qingjun. Although Yongxuan got his wish to get the mansion, it was not all, because this was also the princess's mansion for his sister and Princess Xiao.
After He Shen was given death, due to the intercession with Princess Xiao, Jiaqing did not pursue Fengshen Yinde. In the end, Jiaqing divided the mansion of Heshen into two, Yongxuan got half of it as the palace of Qingjun, and the other half was continued to be lived by Princess Hexiao and Fengshen Yinde.
Until Yongxuan's death, he still didn't get the whole mansion, because Princess Hexiao was still there.
