At more than 8:40 a.m. on January 29, Hu Zelai, a volunteer from our county, donated hematopoietic stem cells in a hospital in Jinhua. After more than 2 hours, the collection was successfully completed. Hu Zelai became the first hematopoietic stem cell donor in our county, and at the same time, he was also the 16,879th case in the country, the 991st case in Zhejiang Province, and the 64th case in Jinhua City.

Hu Zelai, 28 years old this year, is a member of the first class, he joined the Chinese hematopoietic stem cell donor database in May 2018, and in the past five years, he has successfully matched with patients with blood diseases nearly 10 times, but due to various reasons, he failed to donate. In October 2023, Hu Zelai was successfully matched with a patient with a blood disease, and then he actively adjusted his daily habits such as work and rest, diet, etc., and went to the hospital for physical examination, which met the conditions for donation. According to the arrangement, Hu Zelai was admitted to the hospital on January 25, and then injected mobilization needles for several days, and officially collected on January 29, and successfully donated 198 ml of hematopoietic stem cell suspension. "I am very happy to complete the donation, as a party member, I practice the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly. Hu Zelai said excitedly.
