The control time is from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on February 3 (24 Lunar New Year 2023 (Lantern Festival in 2024) for 4 hours.
The first-level control area is the section from the intersection of Gaode Road on Zhujiang Road to the intersection of Taishan Road, and the section from the intersection of Yuanfang Road on Tiantai Road to Shennong City.
This area is closed to vehicles only, and all motor vehicles are prohibited from entering. Vehicles at the Tiantai intersection of Huanghe Road will be diverted to Huanghe Road; Vehicles at the Taishan intersection of Zhujiang Road will be diverted to Taishan Road; Vehicles at the intersection of Zhujiang Road and Lushan Road will be diverted to Lushan Road.
Emergency support vehicles involving firefighting, ambulance, public transportation, and communication in the closed area can pass normally.
The secondary control area is the forest intersection of Zhujiang North Road (on the side of China Street) to the forest intersection of Zhujiang South Road (on the side of the education intersection), and the forest intersection of Gaode Road to the forest intersection of Taishan Road.
The traffic management department of the public security organ will also take temporary control measures on the secondary control area and the periphery according to the traffic flow situation, that is, the vehicle can only enter and exit.
The end time of traffic control will be determined on the spot according to the situation of regional citizens leaving the venue that night. The general public is requested to actively cooperate and consciously obey the command of the traffic police.
Citizens who drive to the scene can park their vehicles in the temporary parking spaces on the road in advance, or go to the surrounding places to park.
The nearby temporary vehicle parking areas are Forest 1st Road, Forest 2nd Road, Shuixin Road, and Gaode Road, and vehicles can be temporarily parked in an orderly manner on the side of the road under the guidance of road staff.
The surrounding parking lots include Shennong City underground parking lot, Shennong Grand Theater, Municipal Museum and other parking areas.
When citizens travel by car, they can pay attention to real-time traffic conditions with map navigation software, actively avoid Tiantai Road, Zhujiang Road, Huanghe Road, Taishan Road and other road sections, and choose to travel outside the activity area.
It is important to note that vehicles are prohibited from parking on roads without temporary parking spaces in the event area. The traffic police and urban management departments will jointly strengthen the management of parking order and take measures to clear and tow illegal motor vehicles. At the same time, in order to avoid traffic congestion, the general public is advised to travel to the site remotely** or by public transportation.
