On January 28, the Duchang Red Cross Volunteer Association organized the year-end visit to the needy people with the activity of "Promoting Chinese Virtues and Caring for Poor Families", providing assistance to some needy families in our county, solving their difficulties in life, and sending New Year's blessings.
Volunteers have come to the homes of the needy people in Dashu, Dasha, Xiangxi, Nanfeng and other towns and towns, talked with them cordially, learned about their living conditions, encouraged them to face the difficulties in life bravely, and made the needy people feel the warmth of the social love organization.
Yu Chuzhen, president of the county Red Cross Volunteer Association, said that activities like this are held every year, and while enjoying a better life, you can feel the difficulties of others more. There are also some unfortunate families around, who are either in debt due to serious illnesses in their family members, or have lost labor due to major family changes caused by accidents, and the family economy is hindered and they are in trouble.
A total of more than 40 caring volunteers participated in the event, visited 21 households in need, and sent condolences to each household, as well as daily necessities such as bean ginseng, pork, edible oil, rice, cotton clothes, etc., hoping that they could have a happy and peaceful New Year.
