Recently, 600 migrant workers from Baise in Guangxi Province received heart-warming gift packages including food and drinking water, and returned to Guangdong to work by free special train.

This is the scene of the 2024 Guangdong-Guizhou Labor Cooperation Migrant Workers Return Service Activity jointly held by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, and the People's Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Guangzhou. During this year's Spring Festival, Guangxi's human resources and social security department organized 300 "point-to-point" special trains to provide convenient transportation services for migrant workers who need to return to work in Guangdong.

In order to facilitate the travel of migrant workers in various counties and districts, the Baise Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau organized a "point-to-point" return-to-work special train registration before the Spring Festival, and set up four departure stations such as Baise Station and Tianyang Station for migrant workers to choose. On the way back to work, the human resources and social security departments of Guangxi and Guangdong provinces and autonomous regions arranged for staff to accompany them throughout the process, and distributed policy publicity materials to migrant workers, and provided policy advice on employment, social security, and work-related injuries.

According to reports, the human resources and social security departments at all levels in Guangxi carried out a survey of the needs of migrant workers returning to work in advance before the Spring Festival, and continued to organize special trains to Guangdong on the basis of ensuring the employment of key industrial parks in the area after the holiday, so as to serve Guangxi migrant workers to return to work in Guangdong. At the same time, we will give full play to the role of the labor service office and seven workstations in Guangdong Province set up by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of the Autonomous Region to provide policy consultation, labor rights protection, difficulty relief and other services for Guangxi migrant workers in Guangdong around the clock.
