President of Huacheng No. 1, Mr. Zhong Heyu, Mr. Hu Chunnan, Mr. Wu Shuxing, Mr. Dong Jieren, etc.: I will never forget the leaders and political cadres who have warmed, guided and cared for me.

When I was in college, I came into contact with a group of outstanding leaders and ideological and political cadres, who warmed me, guided me, and cared for me, making me unforgettable for the rest of my life. Through their practice, they have embodied the unity of party spirit and human nature.

Mr. Hua Chengyi is the Secretary of the Party Committee and the President of Nanjing Normal University. He joined the revolution in the early thirties, went deep into the enemy's strongholds many times, and successfully carried out the work of plotting rebellion. He also studied at the Department of History of Beijing Normal University, became a famous leader of the "129th **", made outstanding contributions in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, and his revolutionary experience made us respect very much.

Dean Hua is of upper-medium stature, with a slightly chubby round face that is slightly dark brown. He liked to tell the truth when he made reports, and later he was also seized by the revolutionary students and put on the platform. For example, during the War of Liberation, he served as our representative of the Military Coordination Group in Xuzhou, and worked together with representatives of the Kuomintang and the United States. He also said that the American representative gave him a pistol, and so on. There was nothing wrong with his words, but as soon as the movement came, they all became "crimes." When he talked about the policy of emphasizing political expression, he often said that he himself was from a rich peasant family, and that he was not also revolutionary! This is very touching and encouraging to us.

During the "three inspections" before the Four Clean-up Movement went to the countryside, some students were criticized for being disgraced. When Dean Hua later made a summary report, he first read the speech record at the criticism meeting, and then commented on it. One paragraph is critical of me: You are taking the road of personal struggle and white dictatorship, and you are the filial son and grandson of the landlord bourgeoisie. Dean Hua commented: White specialty? Do you know what white is? That's the white of the white bandits and the white army in the white area, and you can't just apply it to the students who study hard! You can guide classmates from poor families to take the road of being popular and specialized, but you can't just say that people are filial sons and grandsons! At that time, I was under a lot of mental pressure, and after listening to Dean Hua's words, I burst into tears.

The Siqing team went to the countryside, and President Hua stayed in our commune to guide the work. I was taken out by the task force to engage in cultural and educational construction, and together with Hou Jun, a local young intellectual, who had returned to his hometown, I set up an agricultural middle school. Hou Jun and I wrote a report on the process of running the school, and reported it to the brigade work team and the commune work sub-group, and Hou Jun said: Send a copy to Hua Lao (Dean Hua) as well. I said, "Okay." Soon, after hearing the message from his superiors, Dean Hua was very interested and wanted to come and see. One morning, the sun was shining, and Dean Hua walked nearly 20 miles of mountain roads with crutches on his cane, and he really came. He listened to our reports, sat on my bed and chatted with us, asked a lot of questions, and looked at my corrected homework. He suddenly noticed a little ulcer on the back of my hand and asked, "What's wrong with your hand?" Hou Jun replied on his behalf: "Paint the walls, lime burns." Dean Hua reproached lovingly: I don't know how to put on gloves. "

Mr. Hua Chengyi, this old revolutionary, this leader of the year, and this leading cadre from an intellectual, will always remain in my heart.

Mr. Zhong Heyu is the director of personnel of the college, and he guides our department before the fourth Qing Dynasty. At the time of the third check, we lived in Zhenjiang Jinshan Temple Park. After I was helped by the focus, I was under a lot of mental pressure, sitting alone on a long chair by the river, staring at the river in a daze, crying. Director Zhong found me, sat down, and talked with me for a long time, comforting and encouraging. It was almost time to eat, and he asked me to go to the cafeteria. He followed me and stared at me until I was in the cafeteria.

Director Zhong is a leading cadre who is outspoken, and at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, he spoke at the meeting and made it clear that he did not understand, saying that such a method was a "killing hero", and he would eventually be criticized. At the beginning of the new period after the Cultural Revolution, this respected leader was promoted to vice president.

Mr. Hu Chunnan is the secretary of the Youth League Committee of the school, and he has crossed paths twice with me, an ordinary student. Once, the department informed me to go to the Youth League Committee to find him. I went. It turned out that I had an urgent task: to go to the foreign language department to find a student and write an advanced deed material for him. He said that the school would hold a general meeting in a week, and asked me to hand in the first draft within four days, and revise and finalize it on the fifth day. And said: The department recommended you, saying that the writing is good and fast, and I used it this time. I immediately took action, interviewed Moujun himself and his classmates, and handed them over in three days, and he was very satisfied with them, but asked me to change the third-person report to his own first-person speech, so that the writing and sentences should be correspondingly simple. After that, the secretary of the school's Youth League Committee remembered me, and later asked me to write a newsletter.

The second time was the graduation assignment, and Mr. Hu Chunnan solved the difficult bone of the Chinese Department on behalf of the school. At that time, more than 120 graduates of the Chinese Department went to Mudanjiang, Zhanjiang, Xinjiang, Sichuan and other places to send a quarter of the missions. I analyzed the situation and felt that instead of being assigned, it was better to take the initiative to play the war song and move forward with my head held high. So with several people who are in a similar situation and have similar ideas, they took the initiative to apply to go to Mudanjiang. Mr. Hu was very happy and asked me to speak at the mobilization meeting. In the evening, the large study room in the middle building was brightly lit, and I took the stage to speak, expressing my determination to go to Mudanjiang. One of them says: Some people say it's cold there, but we are people, not migratory birds. Some people say there is no rice, but we are human beings, not rice borers. The land pioneered by the aborigines, the world of the ancestors in the eastern part of the country, and the mountains and rivers cultivated by the demobilized officers and soldiers are waiting for us! Good men are ambitious! When I finished my speech, Mr. Hu immediately spoke, full of enthusiasm: I very much appreciate Ji Peng's speech full of pride. I know Ji Peng's classmates well and believe that he will make great achievements after training and testing. "

After entering the new era, Mr. Hu Chunnan was also promoted to the school-level leader of his alma mater. In my impression, he is a cadre who is calm on the outside but sincere and enthusiastic on the inside.

Mr. Wu Shuxing was our grade counselor in the four years of college, and he presided over the first grade meeting when we entered the university. The tall young teacher welcomed us with a series of youthful phrases. When he spoke, he propped up the podium with his arms on his hands, palms facing down, backs of his hands facing up, and his fingertips pointing outwards on both sides of the podium.

When I was at my lowest emotion, Mr. Wu Shuxing asked me to talk on campus once, and he said clearly: You don't have to carry ideological baggage because of your family background, and the organization has always had a good opinion of you. Some people criticize you for the white monopoly road, personal struggle, and strength policy, but we don't see it that way. We have our knowledge of these classmates who love to button their hats for others, but we can't be too specific to you. You treat it right. Also, I personally want to say to you in my heart, you have potential, and there will always be a good situation in the future for you to display. I didn't fully understand these words at the time, but I did.

Many years later, Mr. Wu Shuxing went to Zhenjiang Normal School as the dean, and joined forces with the principal, Mr. Qian Xuanzhi, a famous scholar, and Mr. Zhou Zhongqi, the head of the Chinese Department, to recruit me under their tutelage. I am grateful for this value. Many years later, Mr. Wen Wu was appointed Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhenjiang Normal School, and felt that he deserved his reputation as an outstanding cadre.

When I was in college, the secretary of the Youth League Committee was Mr. Dong Jieren. Once, when we were publishing a blackboard newspaper, he looked at the layout in my hand and frowned. I made changes right away. Then, in light of reality, he talked about how the arrangement takes into account ideological politics and artistic skills.

The activities of the group organized by Mr. Dong Jieren are very important. I remember once he gave a lecture on a drama, which talked about both content and form, artistic conflict, and stage management. We all admire it.

Entering a new era, Mr. Dong went to the Department of Fine Arts to become the secretary of the general party branch. I went to see him once. He was developing a photographic negative. Later, he studied the art of photography and founded China's first art major. Later, with extraordinary efforts, he became an authority in photography, published monographs, served as a doctoral supervisor, cultivated senior photography talents, and was recognized as a professional master of photography, enjoying a high reputation at home and abroad.

I once sent my first academic monograph "Wild Grass" to Mr. Dong Jieren, and I received an enthusiastic letter of encouragement and earnest words: Make unremitting efforts, devote yourself to academics, and climb the peak. Mr. Dong Kai-shek has gone from a young cadre in ideological and political work to an academic authority, and his life choices and life path have amazed me and made me feel a monument in my heart!
