In 1926, he returned to his hometown, joined the peasant association, and devoted himself to the agricultural movement. Tang Ping was well-educated and familiar with financial work. After the defeat of the Great Revolution, his revolutionary activities went underground and he served as an accountant for the Liudong guerrillas.
In 1928, at the age of 25, he became a full-fledged member of our party. After that, he participated in Mr. Peng's Red Third Army, grew up in the previous anti-"encirclement and suppression" battles in the ** base area, and became a staunch revolutionary.
In October 1934, the Red Army's fifth anti-"encirclement and suppression" failed, and Tang Ping embarked on a 25,000-mile long march with the Red Army.
