In 1981, when China was trying the "two cases," there was a shocking scene at the trial scene, when Qiu Huizuo, who had served as the head of the General Logistics Department, knelt down to apologize to Liu Boyin, the wife of the founding lieutenant general Tang Ping, and asked her for forgiveness.

So, what kind of experience did Yuhei have? Why did Qiu Huizuo kneel down to apologize to his wife? Let's explore this historical mystery together.

Tang Ping, born in Liuyang, Hunan Province, in 1903, was a member of the Kuomintang army, coinciding with the first cooperation between the two parties. Although in the Kuomintang troops, he came into contact with and embraced Marxism-Leninism.

In 1926, he returned to his hometown, joined the peasant association, and devoted himself to the agricultural movement. Tang Ping was well-educated and familiar with financial work. After the defeat of the Great Revolution, his revolutionary activities went underground and he served as an accountant for the Liudong guerrillas.

In 1928, at the age of 25, he became a full-fledged member of our party. After that, he participated in Mr. Peng's Red Third Army, grew up in the previous anti-"encirclement and suppression" battles in the ** base area, and became a staunch revolutionary.

In October 1934, the Red Army's fifth anti-"encirclement and suppression" failed, and Tang Ping embarked on a 25,000-mile long march with the Red Army. As a well-educated and accountant, his professional knowledge played a key role in this difficult period, and he skillfully planned all kinds of materials to ensure the best of the Red Army to the greatest extent in a difficult environment.

At the same time, he also risked his life many times to sneak into dangerous areas to buy daily necessities, which effectively alleviated the tense problem during the Long March.

With the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, he shined in many positions, such as the director of the Political Department of the Eighth Route Army Office in Shanxi, the director of the Administrative Division of the Northwest Shanxi Administrative Office, and the director of the Food Department.

During the War of Liberation, he devoted himself to logistics work, raised a large amount of materials for our army, and ensured the materials and funds of the troops going south, and was one of the heroes who created New China.

General Tang Ping was one of the founders of the financial system of the whole army in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and he made outstanding contributions to the logistics and financial work of our army, so that the logistics and financial work was gradually put on the right track.

He was awarded the rank of lieutenant general in 1955 and became the founding lieutenant general, and since then he has been working in the logistics department of our army. Not only did he train a large number of logistical personnel, but he also drafted numerous logistical systems, many of which are still in use today.

During the period when Qiu Huizuo was presiding over the work of the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army, he created a number of unjust, false and wrongly decided cases, and carried out torture to extract confessions in the General Logistics Department, seriously punishing a number of revolutionary cadres, including Tang Ping.

Although Tang Ping was unyielding and resolutely fought against wrongdoings during his absence, he was eventually killed in January 1968.

After the September 13 Incident in 1971, Qiu Huizuo was examined in isolation, and many cases of the General Logistics Department were re-investigated, including Tang Ping's case, which proved that the accusations against Tang Ping that year were false.

In 1979, Yuhei was able to clear his name and his reputation was restored. Therefore, when the "two cases" were examined in 1981, Qiu Huizuo bowed deeply to Tang Ping's wife, who had died of his own **, and sincerely asked for her forgiveness.
