The first story between the Tang and Song dynasties is: Zhu Wen destroyed Tang Jianliang.

From the fall of the Tang Dynasty in 907 A.D. to the establishment of the Northern Song Dynasty by Zhao Kuangyin in 960 A.D., the 53-year history between the Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasty has seen many little-known stories.

In 907 AD, the Tang Dynasty general Zhu Wen abolished the Tang Emperor Li Ji and proclaimed himself emperor, and the capital city of Bianzhou, which is now Kaifeng, Henan, is the first time that Kaifeng officially became the capital. Zhu Wenguo is called the Great Liang, because during the previous Northern and Southern Dynasties, there was the Liang Dynasty established by Xiao Yan, so historians called the Liang Dynasty established by Zhu Wen as the Later Liang, and Zhu Wen was the Later Liang Taizu.

This Zhu Wen was originally a subordinate of Huang Chao, the leader of the peasant rebel army in the late Tang Dynasty, and later returned to the Tang Dynasty, and the Tang Dynasty emperor gave him the name Zhu Quanzhong, and after Zhu Wen became the Emperor of Houliang, he changed his name to Zhu Huang. This Tang Emperor Li Ji was originally a puppet emperor set up by Zhu Wen after ordering his subordinates to kill Tang Zhaozong Li Ye in 904 AD, and was the 9th son of Li Ye, the 20th emperor of the Tang Dynasty.

After that, the Tang Dynasty was actually in the hands of Zhu Wen, and three years later, Zhu Wen took his place, and the Tang Dynasty fell. The deposed late emperor of the Tang Dynasty, Li Ji, was named King of Jiyin and went to live in Caozhou, which is now the northwest of Cao County, Shandong Province. After Zhu Wen replaced the Tang Dynasty, Li Keyong, Wang Jian, Li Maozhen and others, the local powerful factions of the Tang Dynasty, still regarded the Tang Dynasty as orthodox and did not recognize Zhu Wen's Later Liang.

In 908 AD, in order to stabilize the Later Liang regime he established, Zhu Wen sent people to poison the deposed emperor Li Ji with wine, and buried the late Tang Emperor Li Ji in Dingtao, Shandong Province with princely etiquette. In fact, since Zhu Wen established the Later Liang and replaced the Tang Dynasty, the 289-year reign of the Tang Dynasty has come to an end, and China's history has entered the period of five dynasties and ten kingdoms.

Zhu Wen, the founding emperor of the Later Liang Dynasty, cherished talents very much, and his thirst for talent was very eager. As soon as he ascended the throne, he immediately sent ** to the people to search for virtuous people, especially for those who are in the lower positions and have the ability but no place to display them.

For those who knew about the shortcomings of the imperial court's policies, Zhu Wen also personally read most of the pieces and selected some favorable suggestions to implement. Zhu Wen also suppressed the phenomenon of the rampant power. For example, when Zhu Wen's favorite general Kou Yanqing went to the court once, someone on the way had time to avoid it and was beaten to death by his entourage, so Zhu Wen severely punished Kou Yanqing and did not protect him because of Kou Yanqing's status as a hero. Before Zhu Wen became emperor, he established strict military law, if a general was killed, all the non-commissioned officers of his unit should be beheaded, which was called "detachment beheading". Therefore, the soldiers often fled because the commander of the unit to which they belonged died, and did not dare to return to the team.

That's all for today, we will continue to tell the next story, welcome to leave a message in the comment area.
